"I assure you, the ranking member and I do not take this action lightly,"
Of course, not. Any chance a GOP controlled House has to pillory a Dem in hopes of spinning political gain out of straw, they're going to take it very VERY seriously. Too bad we can't take them very seriously.
This is interesting. The house republicans hands are being forced by the senate actions to subpoena Corzine, when these neo-cons actually defend corporate corruption and greed. They better tread lightly, or they might lose some of their other hidden corporate campaign donations.
Where did the money go, Jon?
There's one point whatever billion dollars unaccounted for, which is a lot of money. But that is nothing compared to the $7.7 trillion dollars that new reports are saying that the Bush administration actually gave away for TARP, which is likewise completely unaccounted for and accountable to no one.

Good question. Never really liked Corzine because he struck me as a typical Wall St crony capitalist. Untrustworthy.
What a shock... A lot of missing money and a Democrat at the top of the organization. How much of this thievery has to go on before everybody sees that Democrats simply don't respect other peoples' money. They consider it their own to do with as they please. Whether it is client's money or tax payers money, the result is the same, it gets stolen, wasted or given to campaign contributors in the case of Solyndra. And Corzine was held up as a model by the Obama administration!!
"The House Agriculture Committee voted unanimously Friday to subpoena "...??? Agriculture???....really???....did Corzine steal some beans or is the GOP looking for more baloney???
gonna have to build more prisons to hold all the crooked dems!
