I LOVE IT!!! Obama refusing to approve a project that would create thousands of high paying jobs during a time of economic downturn ALL FOR POLITICS. He doesn't want to tick off the tree hugger branch of libtards. The country's interests versus Obama's political interests, and WE LOSE.

This incompetent buffoon must go if this country is to survive.

Good for him! Funny thing, though – isn't it the Republicans who have been pushing the line-item veto? Guess they wouldn't favor it in this instance.

NO QUARTER. Stick it to 'em and don't ask nicely first. The GOP/Teatrolls painted themselves into this corner...let them try to paint themselves out. If they think they can pass some payroll tax cut through the House with an entirely partisan GOP vote and stuff with all sorts of irrelevant GOP goodies, they're wrong...and they'll find out real quick that it won't work as an attempt to give themselves a justification for claiming that it's all the Dems' faults that everyone's paychecks shrank. Try it, GOPers...we dare you.

And in today's episode of "News the MSM Doesn't Want You to Hear":

"Medicare, the government program infamous for its waste and abuse, provided some unexpected news on Tuesday: $1.5 billion in savings on prescription drugs."

Guess where it came from? "Obamacare" closing the perscription drug donut hole. Anyone care to guess how long the list of beneficial results of the ACA gets while the MSM sweeps it all under the rug?

Most conservatives have been misled by Fox News into believing that Obama is against the pipeline in any way shape or form. What Fox always fails to mention is that the Republican Governer of Nebraska asked the Obama administration to oppose the pipleline on environmental grounds because farmers in Nebraska opposed it.

So Obama is going to veto a great JOBS BILL so he doesn't alienate tree huggers before the election??? I guess feeding your families really isn't that important to this President. And BTW, if he did veto it, he'd probably do it from the golf course, 19th Hole no doubt.

The state of Nebraska requested that the Obama administration to block it.

If you love this, then you will really love the fact that Gov. Chris "Wonder Boy" Christie (R-NJ) blocked his states portion of a high speed rail tunnel that would have provided high speed rail service up and down the eastern seaboard. What is even more lovable is that the tunnel was the final phase of a multi-year project begun under Bush. Christie wanted to use the funds to pay for his tax cut to the wealthy he had promised during his campaign. His budget was short because his own staff blew the application for federal funds for "no child left behind".

The absolute *best* part is that he had to give all of the money for the rail tunnel back to the feds because it had an *earmark* on it, so he couldn't spend it anyway he pleased. What's more, the feds demand re-imbursement for hundreds of millions of dollars spent on completed tracks and stations that now go nowhere as a result of no rail tunnel.

Yes and we ALL know Obama gets and takes advice FROM REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS!! Honestly Rudy, you have a great future in stand up comedy.

BTW, the pipeline was re-routed to accomodate Nebraska's concerns. Please try to keep up.

He also just killed thousands of jobs in Ohio by withdrawing leases on Federal lands for oil and gas drilling. I guarantee the voters will remember.

Obama's payroll tax cuts! LMFAO What dod you do with your extra $11.50 per week.
Oh thats right, you had to use it to help pay the extra cost of gasoline since the payroll tax break took effect.

Here is a hint to all the people wearing their Obama blindfolds. The US Government collected the same money from you anyway. They just disguised it in hidden taxes that you pay every day.

Oh come on Rudy, Obama has done everything he can to destroy any jobs related to the fossil fuel industry. Evidence of such includes the train industry doing somewhat well in Ohio and PA due to trade with China. Do you know why? Do you know why this would make Global warming worse while helping China against the U.S. worker? Please. Obama is the 1 percent (for him, some people count and some people don't).

@RUdy and Sniffit you are both absolute idiots!!!! First off Obama is not for any oil pipeline or any off shore drilling. You can set there and blame the farmers all you want they have nothing to do with it. He doesn't want because that would prove what we conservatives have been saying for the past 3 years if you drill here or you run an oil pipeline from Canada then you will bring the economy back. It would create thousands of jobs and not to mention would bring the price of everything consumed down. Oh yeah I forgot we might actually get the price of gas under control. I mean who would want that right? Good Lord people get a clue!

The GOP/TP really is amazing. Only they can create a Devil's stew of legislation like this. They have become the ultimate anti-American terrorists. Given that America now EXPORTS gasoline, we obviously don't need this ill-conceived pipeline or the GOP/TP's mantra of "drill, baby, drill".

It is disgusting and a real shame to see comments crediting Norquist and faulting Obama as Norquist is nothing but a Republican intimidator seeking to use abundant funds from "the money" to intimidate and coerce politicians into squelching their individual consciences and to blindly support the interests of "the money" without regard for the costs to the majority. Want proof? Consider how tax increases are only a concern when they are for the wealthy and recognize that all of the problems are NOT related to taxes or government spending but rather are the results of exploitation by "the few" allowed by a permissive, co-responsible government and based on policies touted by politicians owned and controlled by "the money". Obama isn't the problem but rather those who refuse bipartisan cooperation and compromise and instead who put their political ambitions above all else and just fault and block all efforts while contributing nothing are the problem.

And don't forget the tens of thousands of high paying oil rig jobs he killed in the Gulf of Mexico while giving Brazil a few BILLION for them to drill off their coast. It is pretty clear at this point, Obama HATES oil and will do anything to destroy it and the jobs it creates. And then goes on to lie about 'energy independence'...

    Obama...snake oil salesman deluxe.
