Senator calls for Justice official to resign

Washington (CNN) - A prominent Republican senator called Wednesday for a top Justice Department figure to resign, saying Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer was dishonest to Congress about his knowledge of the gun-running Operation Fast and Furious.

Sen. Charles Grassley, an Iowa conservative, said Breuer misled Congress about his awareness of a February 4 letter that denied any gun-running operation existed.

Fast and Furious has been the top news story on FNC for weeks. I understand that the sting operation began taking shape under the Bush Justice Department. I don't see how this operation was really much different from drug sting operations where you have discrete surveillance of street level drug dealers to find the higher ups in their supply chain.

Glad to see you're getting some real facts Rudy!

Guess you weren't listening too well Rudy. Entirely different operation run VERY differently. Bush operation actually DID track the weapons and was done with the full cooperation and involvement of the Mexican government. NONE of this was the case with the Obama/Holder disaster.

Except they didn't even do this. Thet just pumped thousands of illegal weapons to the Mexican drug cartels and never followed up. Never even told the Mexican government. Totally illegal and incompetent from start to finsh. But this is what we have come to expect from Obama and Holder,

Funny how the thousands and thousands of documents produced to Congress, testimony, etc., hasn't resulted in any confirmation of that accusation, such that charges have been brought or other punative proceedings have been initiated, eh? Now now, I know your knee-jerk pre-prepared atlking opint will be something along the lines of "they're hiding it all...obstruction of justice...blah blah blah"....but the reality on that is pretty much the same as the overall reality: if Issa and the GOPers conducting the witch hunt really felt that DOJ was disobeying subpoenas, etc., then they would bring it to court, but they haven't. Fact is, accusing Holder and the Obama admin of obstructing the investigation is just the smoke screen Issa is blowing because the initial 20,000 pages in documents voluntarily produced by the Obama admin didn't provide the GOP with the smoking gun they were looking for, so Issa sent out an overly broad withchunt subpoena knowing it would be opposed just so he could make the claims that they are hiding things and obstructing the investigation. He knows this is never resulting in Holder stepping down or Obama's impeachment...they all do...bnut they're gonna make that kangaroo court hop anyway.

MSM buries or ignores ALL news uncomplimentary to Obama and Democrats. MSM won't tarnish the disaster they foisted on us in 2008! Gotta find out the truth on Fox. You need to educate yourself. Give up the Kool-aide. Choose the Red pill.

I read that Bush's "Operation Wide Receiver" lost over 500 guns to the Mexican Cartels. Did they report that on the foreign media channel, Fox? Good to see that Grover Norquist has taken time out of his destroy America agenda to post today.

Fact: The Fox News audience are less informed than people who monitor no news networks at all. Just more evidence that the right-wing brainwashed simpletons live in a fact-free world of delusion. Keep eating your meds and paint-chips, idiots.
