(CNN) – Rick Perry perpetuates his promise to reform Washington in a new ad set to run in Iowa Tuesday.
The Texas governor uses the 30-second spot to point out the failings of Washington and portray himself as an outside reformer.
"Washington is the capital of political correctness, where double speak reigns and the truth is frowned upon," Perry says in the commercial. "I'm Rick Perry, an outsider who will overhaul Washington and tell you the truth."
He points specifically to members of Congress becoming lobbyists, the U.S. giving aid money to unfriendly countries and the social security system, as evidence of corruption in the nation's capital. Transforming Washington has been a centerpiece of the Texas governor's campaign, which has focused largely on Iowa, the first state to vote on the road to the White House.
His latest spot prefaces a 42-city bus tour in the Hawkeye State that starts Wednesday, intended to drum up support for his presidential bid.
A recent American Research Group survey of likely Iowa caucus goers showed Perry with 13% support in the state, up from 5% in November.

Give it up Perry
Perry is not ready for the American public. One wonders how and why he was elected as Governor of Texas. He should give it up and pursue some crash courses at Texas A & M University in Public Speaking and Debating. He also need to learn some basic English Language skills, particularly in word usage, context clues, pronunciation and enunciation. These maybe would prep him for being the kind of Governor he needs to be.
It's really unfair to the Texas people to have their governor being paid for embarrassing them over and over again both on the national and international stage. This is gross! He needs to give up the run for the nomination and return to school.

"I speak the truth." – Rick Perry.
Have I not been telling you that the only words that come out of his mouth "accurately" are his lies? This article reminds of the classic verbal paradox. "This sentence is a lie."
Right...............say Perry it's NOT limited to WDC.................Texass has done and continues to do far worse.
Whoa! His support is actually *up* since October? Rick Perry has me almost convinced that he is capable of misspelling "dubya" at any moment. Obviously, Perry does not wear the big boots in the Texas Governer's office. I don't know who does, but it most certainly cannot be Perry. He's doing exactly whatever some overlord is telling him to do. He's another "decider". So who would wear the big boots in the White House if Perry were elected POTUS? I don't care because it really doesn't matter. All that really matters is that we don't want to find out in what direction the overlord wants to take us.
Not exactly, but there is no question that most of those in Washington, are in the business of deception.
"I speak idiocy." I don't know how many Supreme Court Justices there are, I think "Solyndra" is a _country_, and I can't rmember which of those EVIL biggubmint departments is really evil and that I want to eliminate. LOL.
Sorry, Mr. Goodhair. Your few moments of glory passed once you opened your stupid mouth. Everyone sees you now for what you are – a blithering fool. Thanks, Texas.
this is stupid. If you care for America, just block High-skilled Immigrants Act immediately. Do not let this pass thru. please. We are getting lot of American Grads from Computer science. Silicon Valley is playing drama, and lobbying. Chinese and Indians are lobbying for this. Slow Immigration till America is working again. o.k,

That's what we're afraid about you, Rick Perry. Just look at the truth about Teaxas.
Rick Perry, "the Obama stimulus created ZERO jobs"....yep he sure does speak the truth.....in his own mind he does.
