O'Donnell's 'unreliable' Gingrich zing

(CNN) – Political 'troublemaker' Christine O'Donnell revealed she will back former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for president Tuesday and touted his "executive experience and consistency" in an interview Wednesday morning, where she also took aim at Romney's rival for the GOP nomination.

O'Donnell told CNN "American Morning" anchor Carol Costello that she'd "thought a lot" about her decision and hoped her endorsement will cause others to give Romney a "second look."

Romney has been criticized by conservatives for reversing position on critical issues, but for O'Donnell, "he's been consistent since he changed his mind."

"(Romney's) humble enough to say 'I don't always have the right answers,' and he's open to other viewpoints, and if it doesn't betray his core convictions, he'll make the necessary changes," she said.

The unsuccessful Delaware U.S. senate candidate and tea party movement supporter balked at behavior of fellow tea party enthusiasts saying she didn't believe Gingrich should receive backing from the tea party .

"People are trying to paint Newt Gingrich as the anti-establishment candidate, which I think is funny," O'Donnell said.

"So many tea partiers are flocking behind Newt Gingrich, I decided to come out at say…the tea party I don't think should be behind Newt at all."

O'Donnell accused Gingrich of being "inconsistent and unreliable"-criticism similar to Romney's Tuesday slam of his GOP rival that declared Gingrich an "unreliable conservative."

But, she asserted, "I'm making my endorsement as personal. As Christine O'Donnell."

"Not on behalf of the tea party," she said.

In 2010, thanks to backing from the tea party movement, O'Donnell upset Rep. Mike Castle, a former governor and the GOP establishment pick, for the Republican Senate nomination in Delaware. O'Donnell subsequently lost the general election contest by double digits to Democratic candidate Chris Coons.

She released a book detailing the events of her Senate bid titled "Troublemaker" in August.

Oh, let sweet life begin again! It was held in suspended animation there for a bit until missy numbnuts gave us her sermon on the mount of free rent receipts of whom she ordained worthy of her latest witches brew curse, uh, endorsement.

Appears that "eye of newt" was an ingredient and not the subject of her stew.

If Romney looks like the consistent one, it just goes to show how ridiculously weak this GOP field of candidates really is.

Well, Newt's done now. Her endorsement doesn't mean much, but she'll put a hex on Newt. It's all over now. Maybe she'll turn Newt into a newt.
Sorry, folks, I coudn't resist; it was just too easy.

As if Mitt Romney's not having a bad enough week, he ends up with the "I'm not a witch" endorsement!

Like Hollywood, CNN(and other media, to be fair) seems to be obssessed with sequels, instead of providing new and actually relevant material. Christine O'Donnell?!?!?! Who on earth would care in the least about her opinion on anything? Answer: no one. Yet, CNN recycles her for a headline. When asked what he thinks of his endorsement by O'Donnell, Mitt Romney answers: Who?

Shouldn't the right wing foreign owned media start being honest, and tell their uninformed viewers that tax cuts for the wealthy, tax breaks for big oil, bailouts of big banks and Wall Street are the worst forms of socialism? Instead, the crazy right wingnuts attack the veterans administration, our military, social security, medicare, police, firemen, teachers, nurses, post offices, publican universities, local governments,as socialist programs.

I think O'Donnell is putting in her bid as Romney's running mate. Why not? In her world, that's possible. Pairing an establishment flip flopper with a teabagger lunatic would cap this silly season with an ultimate joke.

Hear this, people: I, Mighty Mouse, ! Endorse ! drum beat... I endorse "Rick" Cainmann. He is the candidate of my choice.
Go forth, follow my lead, and do as I dreamed last night. (after the sleeping pills wore off).
My wish now becomes 'reality' in the world I live in. Follow your leader and do not flip nor flop. (but if you like to do otherwise, that's ok too).

Hahaha...she's really doing this to screw over Romney. She'll drive the tea boys further into Newt's corner, and the mainstream republicans (if any are left) will ignore her and anyone she talks about, including Mitt.

I wonder if O'Donnell's endorsement will do the same thing Chris Christie's endorsement of Mitt Romney did? Romney has been falling in the polls since that one.

Makes sense in a way. After all, if Mormonism is a form of Christianity, then why not witchcraft? Maybe if we could include Islam, agnosticism, and atheism as varieties of Christianity, we could all get along.

the $250M flip flopper is already down in the polls. Nobody needs her endorsement as an individual or the ex darling of the tea bagging crowd!!
