Romney video ties Gingrich to left

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) – Mitt Romney’s campaign is keeping up its drumbeat of attacks on Newt Gingrich with another web video hitting the former House speaker’s collaboration with Nancy Pelosi.

The video, called “Newt and Nancy,” ties Gingrich to Pelosi and former Vice President Al Gore for their work on climate change awareness.

“When Al Gore needed support for his liberal global warming agenda, he turned to his friend Nancy Pelosi,” the Romney video reads. “When Pelosi wasn’t enough, Newt Gingrich gave his support.”

Gingrich appeared in an advertisement with Pelosi in 2008, and urged the country to “take action” on climate change.

The Romney video capitalizes on the former Massachusetts governor’s charge that Gingrich is an “unreliable leader" for some of his forays outside party orthodoxy. Last week the Romney campaign released a web video attacking Gingrich's comment in May that a conservative-backed plan to overhaul Medicare was "right-wing social engineering."

Gingrich later walked back his statement.

Romney called Gingrich “an extremely unreliable leader in the conservative world” in an interview with The Washington Post Tuesday

Oh Mittens, you are so tough to use the turd blossom Rove's swift boat technique to alter the truth. Go back to one of your $12.5 million homes, and do what unsuccessful career politicians do, bet people $10,000 that you are important.

It looks like Mittens will lose another 10% of moderate republicans with this insanity. Talk about a failure and waste of Koch and Rove money.

@Wire Palladin, S.F. – do you have a point or just saying whatever comes off the top of your head? Did you help pay for BO's banner to fly over NY today? Good use for 10k. Romney has a resume to run this country that dwarfs BO's to oblivion.

With his non stop lies, Romney has proven that is isn't a nice person, and is trying to function at a level that is too high for his pay grade.

In the end and in spite of all his human and congressional failings the newterman was someone who didn't just vote party lines and had a mind of his own. Unfortunately, the teapublikans in congress turned their backs on their constituents and Americans in general as soon as we elected President Obama.
I hope the new crew of 2012 care more about us, the little guy and the poor, than the crop that is governing right who are more interested in how fat their wallets are and will get. Then again, they are politicians. Not much to expect from them!

@Wire Palladin, S.F. – it looks like Romney has only lost your vote which he never had. Did you have fun tweeting about the 10k bet during the debate? Way to focus on a well-known US saying instead of BO's epic failures and how we are going to fix the country after he has tried to run it into the ground.

Anyone who thinks Newt Gingrich is a liberal should consider a lobotomy, as it would probably be an improvement.

Oh good grief. Nobody is stupid enough to think that Gingrich is intelligent enough or moral enough to become a democrat. He's out for himself and for power - he's a typical GOPer.

Gee...the last time I looked, there is no "liberal Global Warming Agenda." Rather, there is a radical right anti-science, anti-knowledge and anti-truth agenda trying, all too successfully, to distort the debate in order to protect their own pockets. This is one of only a very few things on which Gingrich has ever been correct. Unfortunately, the truth is inconvenient for the paymasters who control things in the GOP so, of course, he pulled a Mitt and changed his position. Some have said that "Truth has a liberal bias." Actually, it is simply that liberals are biased toward truth.

One thing all of the Republican contenders have right is this simple fact – none of the others is fit to be President.

    Just Saying...

While these two children are trying to pretend they are adults, I would urge everyone to stay with President Obama, as he has saved us from another republican depression, stopped the loss of 8 million jobs in Bush's last three years, waged an effective war on al Qaida, gave 50 million uninsured hope, saved the auto industry and 2 million jobs, and created an additional 3 million jobs with the stimulus.

There you go again Mitt! You are on video yourself stating that climate change was man made. Or was that when you were for it before you were against it?

LOL...this is too funny. Ole Mittens thought his nomination was going to be a shoe in!! LOL now he has to come out swinging before Iowa!! He should fire his campaign manager because he should have been doing this from the start!!! The name of the game is knocking off your opponent or get knock off!! Newt played all them like fools with his we should not beat up on each other but focus on the President!!! That was so stupid because we all knew who you were going up against in the National election, but voters hadn't decided which one of you were going to get the shot, therefore you need fight it out with each other!! Not play this nice stuff!! LOL Mind you I could care less...OBAMA 2012!!!

Weak argument as most people, even conservaties, support climate change awareness. Romney ... they just do not like you. You may want to look to change parties or career.

I support Romney 100%. But, I do think he should try to steer focus on him. Why he is the better candidate than the others. I know (not believe) that Romney will change this nation for the better. No giving falls hopes like President Obama. Newt is the worst. I would rather have Ron Paul win the nomination I might vote for him, but not Ging. If Ging gets the nomination I will probably have to choose the lesser embarrassment (Obama), so we do not have a bigger embarrassment like Newt.

Newt Romney = Flip and Flop. 2 big government "conservatives" trying to run from their past.

Ron Paul is the only one who's serious about reducing the debt and spending. He's the only true Constitutionalist running, with the record to prove it.
