Romney video ties Gingrich to left

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) – Mitt Romney’s campaign is keeping up its drumbeat of attacks on Newt Gingrich with another web video hitting the former House speaker’s collaboration with Nancy Pelosi.

The video, called “Newt and Nancy,” ties Gingrich to Pelosi and former Vice President Al Gore for their work on climate change awareness.

“When Al Gore needed support for his liberal global warming agenda, he turned to his friend Nancy Pelosi,” the Romney video reads. “When Pelosi wasn’t enough, Newt Gingrich gave his support.”

Gingrich appeared in an advertisement with Pelosi in 2008, and urged the country to “take action” on climate change.

The Romney video capitalizes on the former Massachusetts governor’s charge that Gingrich is an “unreliable leader" for some of his forays outside party orthodoxy. Last week the Romney campaign released a web video attacking Gingrich's comment in May that a conservative-backed plan to overhaul Medicare was "right-wing social engineering."

Gingrich later walked back his statement.

Romney called Gingrich “an extremely unreliable leader in the conservative world” in an interview with The Washington Post Tuesday

    @ Jariv....
Obama is an epic failure BUT you have GOP candidates saying if you're poor and/or unemployed it's your OWN FAULT. Just saying.......

Newt is well balanced. Myth romneys campaign needs a slot on americas most dirty jobs! Its good to see canada pulling out of kyoto (durban). Obama does not have that kind of guts when dealing with his tree hugging friends so there is large scale unemployment and high energy price$.

Bottom line is probably that someone offered Newt money, and he took it. People really need to ask themselves if they want someone in the White House who's private sector experience consists entirely of pimping themselves out to the highest bidder. The sad thing is that he's not a lawyer, so he does not even have that excuse. If someone paid Gingrich to do a lap dance on Pelosi's lap, he would have gladly asked, " What do I wear?"

Ooooooh, God forbid we have a president who acknowledges reality instead of keeping his or her head firmly planted way up a particularly smelly bodily orifice! attacking each other for realizing climate change is the most dangerous problem faced by humanity today speaks volumes about the repug 'mind,' none of it good. now, more than ever, we need a leader firmly committed to science and doing what's necessary to keep our planet from becoming unlivable for our children and their children. buying the oil companies' line that climate change is a hoax will destroy us. they know it's real, but their hunger for arctic oil and the opening of the Nortwest Passage takes priority over the health and well being of your kids!!! we ignore reality at our extreme peril!

So Global Warming is established fact just as evolution is established fact ant that Adam and Eve is a mythical story proven by genetics today.

Let Romney continue to dig his grave by still pretending that he doesn't know even staunch conservatives are caving into the facts scientists have been telling us for years.

Now how about tossing in Romney's "Big Dig" disaster? Cant wait until this hits the waves.

The one and only good thing Ginrich ever did and Mittens attacks him for it , you know maybe Mittens is just not ready for prime time.

The sad part of Romney's whining is the "Liberal Global Warming Agenda" line used by scientifically illiterate people (like Mr. Romney). Climate change is real and man-made, and the deniers may win political points with other illiterates like themselves, but they will not help assure the future of numerous ecosystems worldwide. Go back to college, Mr. Romney, and learn about earth science, ecology, and environmental science, and learn some statistics while you're at it. Then make conclusions based on facts, not politics.

@tykl: FYI, Romney's not running against President Obama–at least not yet. At the moment he's running against Gingrich (and a few others the media doesn't like to mention this week).

Neither Newt or Romney is perfect. However, I look who has the best resume to lead the country and the person who has the best chance to win. That person is Romney!

You and me both! Looney leftists and tree huggers were screaming about the coming ICE AGE in the 70's! This lastest scam is nothing but a way to scam money from industrialized nations to give to others. Wealth redistribution but on a country to country scale.

Never mind all the crap Newt has pulled. You are trying to damn him for one of the few things he got right? Moderate Republicans everywhere should stand up against the bizarre (I was going to say right-wing but it doesn't eve make conservative sense) behavior of their candidates. They are losing more than just an election.

Yep, we admit it, its all a scam. We are secretly planning to throw the world back into the Dark Ages by attacking science and getting rid of people who don't agree- wait, you mean, the GOP has beat us to it? Again? They take greater pride in being ignorant than we do? They got the Flat Earth Society pulling for them? AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! Foiled by the GOP again! Now can we do something about screwing up health care, and lower life expectancy? What? They are already doing that in Mississippi? Crap!

Pretty harsh criticism, for a Republican. In the meantime, as a Democrat, I know that Newt is far removed from our ideology. But the circus is kind of fun to watch.

Romney has a resume to run this country that dwarfs BO's to oblivion

Aside from the fact that Obama has more experience at being president, of course.
