Tea party member arrested on gun charge at NY airport

New York (CNN) – A leader of a Tea Party group was arrested Thursday at New York's LaGuardia Airport while in possession of a handgun, prosecutors said.

Mark Meckler, a co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, was detained Thursday morning during preflight check-in, according to a Queens District attorney statement.

    while the right wing media continues to smear the OWS movement only focusing on the bad apples that are there which all movements do have (remember the racists that invaded many Tea Party rallies?) I am sure they will have a way of smoothing this over as well. The NRA will come and save this guy regardless.
