Sioux City, Iowa (CNN) - Mitt Romney's presidential campaign moved quickly Friday to capitalize on a high-profile endorsement from South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley by sending out a wave of robocalls across the early primary state that feature Haley herself making the case for the former Massachusetts governor.
"Hi, this is Gov. Nikki Haley, and this morning I announced my endorsement of Mitt Romney for President of the United States," Haley says in the call, which was received by a Republican voter in Rock Hill who provided it to CNN.

In the one-minute call, Haley draws an implicit contrast with the Republican frontrunner, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, whose ascent in the polls has come at Romney's expense in several key early voting states.
Without naming him, Haley casts Gingrich as a creature of Washington.
"Mitt Romney knows what it means to make decisions, real decisions, not simply cast a vote," Haley says in the call. "He is not a creature of Washington. He knows how the private economy works, how to fix it, and most importantly how to solve problems. And he has proven it."
At the end of the call, Haley invites people to attend a rally with her and Romney on Friday in Greenville.
The calls are being paid for by Romney's campaign.

Sounds like you do not know what a veto is either, or what the power to wield it means. I don't normally give lessons, but in your case I will make an exception No president can authorized any spending that is not previously passed by the Congress. That means a President does not hae to sign everything that comes across his desk. He can veto it, knowing that the Congress cannot override his veto, thanks to his minority colleagues.
So, Reagan played brinksmanship with the Congress thoughout his administration. He passed Continuing Resolutions several times per year because he vetoed every budget that the Democratic Congress sent to him.

It seems like governor Haley is trying to convince me, a devoted evangelical christian, to vote for a Mormon. many of us as evangelicals are quite convinced that Mormonisn is a CULT. No one will get us voting for someone who firmly supports a cult....like Romney does in his devotion to Joseph Smith.

no, no, no Mr. Anonymous.... libs were all upset when Obama was running for President when his middle name was used because they screamed people were trying to make others believe he was a muslim. Now I'm sure there are many non-muslim Americans born in Hawaii with a middle name of Hussein so I personally don't know why they got so upset but they definitely did get upset.
