(CNN) – Ron Paul received some help from another Paul Thursday in a new Christmas-themed ad.
His son, Sen. Rand Paul, issues a video testament to his father in the form of a 30-second spot, which is set to run in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
"My father taught me the value of commitment to faith, family and our constitution," the Kentucky senator says. "He's always stayed true to his principles and convictions. He won't falter, he won't bend and he will restore what made America great."
The younger Paul also ties his family to the tea party movement that helped usher him into the Senate in 2010, saying his anti-government, anti-debt message mirrors the ideals of Texas Rep. Paul, who is making his third bid for the White House.
Sen. Paul sits in front of a Christmas tree during the ad and finishes by wishing the viewer a "Merry Christmas."
The new spot is the latest in a string of commercials from Rep. Paul, who has funneled significant funds into paid media in early contest states. He has also seen a steady increase in his national and statewide polling figures.

I wouldn't vote for the father but the son is TOTALLY out of the question. The Paul's are too radical and much too extreme to be in government (you know the thing they hate so much). Wink, wink.
