What it will do most is add more to our deficit. We have taxes for a reason and to just arbitrarily cut them as this was done last year is irresponsible. We cannot afford to give money to people because we think it a nice thing to do. The unemployed need help. The elderly need help, and the poor. But people with jobs want money, but don't really need the break.
Must be election time in DC.

The fight is simply postponed due to Xmas, and the stunt pulled by Reid, will make it a tougher fight in February.

  6. The Greedy Old PIgs have declared class war on US!

Time to Occupy GOBP deathcult offices around the country and demand an end to the Bush tax cuts for the filthy rich and the new millionaire's surtax. Those things are the real problem and what the extreme rightwing radicals are fighting to avoid, while ignoring the 99%. OWS!

If Spkr. Boehner can pass it, then he can go home with less egg on his face. That is IF he can get it passed. Nothing is assured, but the procedure I think he wants to use to expedite gives him a little more control and confidence that the vote will turn out to his satisfaction.

Happy Holidays and Safe Travels, To All.
