Good, another seat for the Republicans to pick up in the Senate... Bye bye Democrat Senate and Harry Reid! Then with a Republican President and House the country will be able to finally recover and move forward.

I do feel bad for Ben Nelson though. He's one of only a few in the Democrat Party with an ounce of common sense, and the lefitst lunatic fringe hate him for it.

Farewell and good riddance. The democratic party has no room for Blue Dogs or whatever the hell you want to call yourselves. You so called democrats side with republicans so much that you might as well be a republican. We need true progressives in the party.

That's a pipe dream if I ever heard one. There won't be a republican president for the next few decades. You republicans tend to get amnesia. A republican president is what got us into this fix we're in now. As far as the House goes, democrats will take back the House next year all thanks to the radical teapublicans inthe House.

Well, after he tricked everyone into thinking he was a conservative and signed that healthcare bill, it was just all downhill. He should've stayed strong. He knew what he was doing.

Gridlock is when the only ones that go out and vote in the mid-term elections are the Republicans far right, or the super right, the teabaggers. The Republicans should never ever be in control of Congress, only level headed, moderate, should be, Newt, taught us that. It seem to me that the middle class has forgotten that over the years, of Big Money politic._____________Stop the madness, STOP the GOP

One reason for the departure of so many in congress is the exposer to insider deals .

Good luck to Democratic Sen. Ben. Nelson of Nebraska with his new job as a lobbyist for Wild Turkey .

"There won't be a Republican president for the next few decades."

Either you're ten years old, or you're simply stupid. As for the current "mess", your President is doing his very best to destroy our economic system.
