(CNN) – The White House Tuesday denied reports that President Obama will be taking a go-it-alone approach, governing without Congress.
"He'll pursue all tracks," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters, "but it is not accurate to suggest that he doesn't want to engage with Congress and that he won't engage with Congress. In fact, he wants to continue to work with Congress."

Played correctly- this could be perfect politics. He's given congress 3 years to work with him and together and they have done nothing. Start by asking for their support, don't get – move to executive order and two things will happen- first his poll numbers will climb and two- it will get Congress to start acting.

OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
Obama got everything he wanted in 2009 and 2010. Everything.No questions asked. No justification.
What we saw was a flurry of big, expensive, ineffective partisan legislation. Unemployment went up faster than debt and both were skyrocketing to heights previously unimagined.
The voters stepped up in 2010 and put a halt to that nonsense. Now Obama has to actually justify what he wants done. Guess what? He can't. He has no idea what he is doing.
Okay Mister President, I am glad you are back. Now, get the work so we can get your A$$ re-elected.

The numbers are impossible to hide from. When Obama was elected, unemployment was 6.5%. By the time he was innaugurated it had already increased to 8.5% ( Jan. 2009 ). By Jan. 2010 it had gone up to 10.6% and by Jan. 2011 it was still at 9.8%.
The Republicans took the majority in the House and now unemployment is back down to 8.5% where it was in Jan. 2009.
Which numbers were you thinking would help Obama in 2009 and 2010?

The President tried in every way to work with the Republican congress to restore the country after the disasterous 8 years of Bush. He was stopped at every turn, not because his ideas were bad, but simply because the R's wanted him to fail even if the counry fails. Mr. President - You will be relected in 2012 and, in your upcoming years in office, do what you know is right for the country using Presidental means and realize the R's will never work with you. You are a good and decent man who loves this country and tries to do the right thing. Go for it!!! Every Tea Party Republican should hang their heads in shame.
