Bachmann ends GOP presidential bid

(CNN) - Michele Bachmann ended her bid for the Republican presidential nomination Wednesday, hours after a disappointing sixth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.

The Minnesota congresswoman suspended her campaign, a legal technicality that will allow her to continue to raise and spend campaign funds.

Ding-dong. The witch is dead! What is with "suspending" your campaign? Just admit that you lost!

Now she can return to doing her job – you know, the job she was elected to do – I wish I had the freedom to ignore my job every day and still get paid while developing my next job – just one other example of how politicians are completely out of touch with the every day realities that 99.9% of the people have to deal with.

It is amazing that Michele Bachmann can bring God into her speech, while flat out lying and bearing false witness about Obama in the same speech. My parents and Grandparents taught us that talk like that is a ticket to a very bad place. You don't have to wonder why she got a whooping at the polls and evangelicals refused her hype and lies.

Only thing that would make this day better is if Rick Perry would hurry up and announce he is dropping out too
