(CNN) - Michele Bachmann ended her bid for the Republican presidential nomination Wednesday, hours after a disappointing sixth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.
The Minnesota congresswoman suspended her campaign, a legal technicality that will allow her to continue to raise and spend campaign funds.
Good riddance to a divisive and clueless "candidate."
Bachman never did figure out that with a mic, you don't have to shout. That, and her insistence that a left of center (not even a liberal) President was a socialist made her a less than serious candidate.
Good, I believe this lady has glass eyes anyway. You can tell when someone is slow or mentally disabled. It show in their eyes and she's got that look. And she repeats the same thing over and over.
well so much for her making sure Obama is a one term president.
LoL.. I guess she is a 1 state candidate.. hahahahah...who's next???
Why do they even bother saying things like "she deserves the chance to say this in her own words but it is safe to say we don't see a viable way forward.", If this source truly felt that way, they would not have said anything to the media!
It gets very old, these "inside sources" who don't want to be named giving out inside information that they were sworn to keep secret, whether it is some government employee, a campaign insider, someone working with a sports team, or whomever. They give out information they swore they would keep secret. Then we learn some of it is leaked on purpose. Just to gauge public reaction. They leak it through their press contacts. So, the only one not in on this game is the public. Because we don't insist on names, we allow the press to use "unnamed sources", people who insist on anonymity. Believing whatever we are told as long as they attribute it to someone.
Well, I heard from a source, who wanted to remain anonymous that there was a new bill being proposed to make it illegal to use unnamed sources in print , on-line media, or even live media starting in 2013. This source, familiar with the FCC, said it would impact how Washington, DC does business! Keep an eye out for this bill folks, it could be huge!
What do Iowa and time have in common? Neither are on Michele Bachman's side!
God told her to run then changed his mind and told her to stop?
Maybe Mr. Bachmann can pray away the competition.
Great, now probably it will be a more serious campaign. She put too much unneeded meaness.
I always knew there was a God.......TKU
Michelle-–dont suspend--just --WITHDRAW-–you are history in politics
so sad. what the world needs is more religious wack jobs running for power. i was hoping for a return to the dark ages.
"Oh my god. America is doomed.... What....she's out? Never mind. "
I was really looking forward to $2 gasoline.
What took her so long? What a waste of other peoples' money. Gingrich is next, then Paul.
I hear Bachmann will be demanding a recount.
Thank you Jesus.
That's 3 out that God told to run -- reckon God is trying to tell them to stay out of public office? 'Cause he told the rest of us to reject them.
"Bachmann "will acknowledge the reality of Iowa's vote""
I didn't even know she was capable of identifying reality. I think she is too busy talking to her pretend Jebus friends in her head.
The sanest thing she's done.
The evangelicals love a cheap, bigoted hypocrite as much as the next guy.
Unfortunately for Michele, they like the next guy.
Now on to her real goal: A book deal and a spot on Fox!
Michelle, come back when you wake up in this century! See ya!
Is "Suspending a campaign" now the easy way to say "epic failure?"
