BLITZER'S BLOG: Don't crown Romney just yet

(CNN) – Because we’ve seen so many ups and downs in this race for the Republican presidential nomination, I’d like to recommend that we all take a deep breath and let the process play fully itself out.

I say this because so many pundits already assume that Mitt Romney has it in the bag. He’s certainly is a front-runner for the nomination, but he’s not there yet.

FULL STORY

Watch The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer weekdays at 4pm to 6pm ET and Saturdays at 6pm ET. For the latest from The Situation Room click here.

  1. Hurry up! elect Mitt Romney!

South Carolina will never support a draft dogding Mormon that went to France to avoid the Vietnam War to live in a palace while sipping on wine. Romney has five sons none join the service to fight in Afganistan or Iraq. like father, like son. The Mitt sandwich is hard to swollow for Christian Conservitives to put an Mormon at the head of their movement

Blitzer, you're one of the top neocon apologists out there, which means you know the neocon fix is in for Romney. Pretending otherwise just makes you look like an even bigger tool,

Romney does have a long way to go. But, if he wants to act like he is the nominee-elect, he may strut on. Gingrich did that for a day and look where it got him.

Well, Democrat Harry Reid controls the Senate and won't vote on anything, essentially stopping everything. And Obama has been on vacation in Hawaii for weeks working on his golf game. Welcome to Democrat controlled government.

I can't stand Newt personally but I think he is the smartest of them all politically. This isn't his first rodeo. Don't sell him short.

Wolf, I totally agree with you

We have seen Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Perry supporters. Now Rick Santorum supporters are popping up in Tennessee. Still Mitt Romney didn’t reach to the base here.
Rick Santorum or Rick Perry will get more votes in south. Second place always for Ron Paul

They are going to have to make a decision. The list of candidates is probably the worst in the history of the US and what used to be the grand old party.

First of all the president, like every other president before him, take vacations but I am sure they are not sitting on their behinds like you would when you go on vacation. Second, Reid is not the one obstructing everything that comes down the pike. Look to the house and the weeper and tantrum man.
Third, the congress if NOT controlled just by the Democrats but you obviously can't tell the difference between obstruction and work.

As a GOP conservative, I would guess that you are a christian as well. So it begs the question, why are you sinning by telling bald faced lies on this forum. What part of the commandment "Thou shalt not lie" is confusing to you?

Grow up and grow some morals. If you have a cogent argument, give it. If all you have are fabrications, lies, and half-truths to offer, do yourself a big favor and resist the temptation to sin by publicly posting the them.

No problem, Wolf. I'm having too much fun watching the GOPer clown show kick into high gear. Looks as if John McCain is signing-up, and Sarah wants back in also, too. There's plenty of popcorn to go around...

CNN is failing the public. Where are all these top Mormon leaders support for Mitt Romney? Does Mitt Romney have fundrasier in the Mormon communities? How come we never see Mitt Romney and his family going to church? Where are Mitt Romny suragates to push his ideas? What is Mitt Romney hiding?

What war specifically did Obama START Truth?
    -----
He started the drone war in Libya.
    ------------------------
Sorry Rudy but that sounded like a RethugliKKKlan's rambling. We were NOT at war in Lybia. We participated in an international NATO effort to offer assistance to people that were being slaughtered. That line about going to war with Lybia was what the Thugs were exploding about because they claimed that Obama needed the authority of Congress to do so. We were NEVER at war with Lybia my friend.

  21. The Greedy Old Pigs have declared class war on US!

"Well, Democrat Harry Reid controls the Senate and won't vote on anything, essentially stopping everything."

More of your typical Fakes News talking points manure? Reid has no obligation to bring the extreme rightwing House bills to the floor if the Senate if it's clear there are not enough votes.

"GM and Chrysler would have been handled by bankruptcy courts, just as all others would have been. Obama took them over (just like the socialist he is) for one reason only, to SAVE THE UNIONS. Bankruptcy courts would have thrown out their agreements and given them a REAL chance of surviving. Right now, it is the illusion of survival, for the time being."

Did you miss the reports this week that the Big Three are now profitable again? Of course you didn't....your post is designed intentionally to misinform those who haven't seen those reports yet in hopes they go around believing your mindless talking point drivel instead of the truth, which is, in fact, the exact opposite of what you said.
