OK, so in one article he says he wants to shrink the government and now he wants to create a whole new federal bureacracy??? Cabinet level positions ALWAYS get bigger. Again, more Obama election year smoke and mirrors. Too bad he didn't spend the last 3 years helping small business instead of trying to tax them more. Obama simply cannot be trusted with all of these election year smoke and mirror manuevers. They do NOT fit the person we have seen in action over the last 3 years. If this clown gets re-elected, he'll revert back to the socialist he was in the first 3 years.

Since small business produce the most new job creation and are less likely to outsource jobs to other countries, this is long overdue and a sign of a President who gets it. Yeah, small businesses will fail and more will rise up, that's just the nature of a free market system. But the system has to have more of a level playing field.

Another of his 'idea-of-the-week' propositions. Leave it in Commerce, chief!

Wow, after three years of being the most business unfriendly president ever its too late to try now. Does he really think at this late hour the American people will believe he cares about jobs or business? Don't even try to ask us to believe this Obama.

If we could only keep him in a quiet room until the election so he doesn't do any more damage. Please, please stop!

Funny that people ignore that Obama has created over 111 agencies. This is a drop in the bucket compared to what he has created. And if it was so good, why did he wait until the campaign months to do it? Why not three years ago when we needed it? Besides, all he is doing is shuffling the deck chairs. He's not actually shrinking anything. But now he wants the authority to do so, which could be a disaster in the future.

Rudy NYC – Read the Health Care Bill for a start. Even MSNBC admits there are 32 in the mess.
The total overall stands at 159.

Now we will find the Republican party is against a stream lined smaller government. I've read their twitts no constructive criticism or ideas just more "no to everything" partisan rhetoric.

First GOPer/Teatroll to complain about "czars" (as if that has anything to do with this) wins an intertubes. Using the word "dictator" or proving Godwin's Law gets you a bonus cookie.

Something must be showing up in his internal polling. First of all, he comes up with a "consolidation" effort... now he wants to elevate this to a cabinet-level position. Sounds to me like the genius of 1600 Pennsylvania is just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. How pathetic.

And if he had said "Chamber of Commerce" instead of "Small Business Admin," the GOPers/Teatrolls wouldn't be complaining.

You need to look up the word "agency" in the dictionary. A grant program is not an agency in and of itself. Grants are administered by agencies, not the other way around.

But since you want to compare crib notes, then know this. Dick Cheney was out of the public eye because he was either ill or working with the Dept. Of Homeland Security. By the time Obama was sworn in, DHS was almost as large as a second Dept of Defense. It was comprised of over 400 separate sub-agencies with annual budget projected to hit $100 billion in 2012.
