(CNN) - The race for the Republican presidential nomination is on track to break new ground: For the first time in modern political history - some say ever - the GOP nominee could be someone who is not a Protestant Christian.
Front-runner Mitt Romney is Mormon, as is Jon Huntsman. Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are Catholics.
Wow, the Repubs are SO jealous of the Dems making history having the first African American president that they will take any little morsel they can find to blow it up as making history! It's really quite funny. Just like they said the 2010 midterm was an historic win – that was so NOT true as it has happened in the past. Besides, they should proud of the historic fact that they started an unwinnable illegal war that accomplished absolutely nothing but the US downfall!
Having survived 8 years of the worst president in history, Bush, it is in the best interests of all Americans to reelect President Obama. Republicans almost destroyed our country, and should not be elected to finish the job.
