Colonia Juarez, Mexico (CNN) - In the rolling hills of northern Mexico, about 180 miles south of the U.S. border, lies a community that stands out for its religious roots. The houses in this community surrounded by peach and apple orchards look more like homes you would find in the American Southwest than in Mexico. On top of a hill stands a gleaming white Mormon temple, a rarity in this largely Catholic country.
Miles Anthony Romney is a resident in this community called Colonia Juarez and a practicing Mormon. The 50-year-old owner of orchards and a fruit packing plant says his family descends from Mormons who settled in this area more than 125 years ago.

A valid question to ask is whether or not George Romney gave up his Mexican citizenship prior to Mitt being born. If Mitt had ever been a dual citizen, he is not eligible. I know this because I had dual citizenship, and I was told I was ineligible to run for an office that required me to be natural-born citizen without ties to another country. If George Romney did give up his citizenship pror to Mitt being born, then Mitt is eligible to run for the office.

I believe that it already is mandatory. It is. The detailed information isn't mandated to be made public. The Bush administration and the Congress certified Sen. Obama as the President-elect. The fact that Obama's birth certivicate ever became the overblown issue that it became is an indelible stain on the office of the POTUS.
When is Obama, Mr. Most Transparently Opaque President in history, going to release his college transcripts and papers??? The American people have a right to know if they are voting for a socialist or communist. It's pretty clear he doean't like capitalism. Also want to know all his clients at the law firms and what they worked on. How much money he made, etc.

Romney's cousin in Mexico is wrong about Mexican employment. We have plenty of guest worker Mexicans as well as illegal workers here in Colorado. But they now refuse to work in the orchards and take construction jobs and restaurant jobs instead. Our famous peach orchards, etc. are failing because no one will pick the fruit. And on the eastern side the Mexicans work under the table for less money than U.S. citizens can. Those employers who hire illegals should be jailed instead of making huge profits illegally.
Also, many Mid-Eastern men cross our borders illegally, and some of them could be potential terrorists.
Judging from some of the not well thought out remarks, it looks like the birthers are going to make a comeback during the 2012 campaigns. To suggest that a President's birth certificate has never been checked before Obama released his to the public is beyond ridiculous.

His family left the United States because they disagreed with the LDS Church caving on polygamy, so check your facts, please.
