Gingrich's daughters defend him ahead of ABC interview with ex-wife

Columbia, South Carolina (CNN) – Newt Gingrich's adult daughters are coming to their father's defense ahead of a potentially damaging interview with his second wife scheduled to air two days before the Republican South Carolina primary.

The Gingrich campaign released a "Memo to ABC News Leadership" from daughters Kathy Lubbers and Jackie Cushman. The memo addresses reports Wednesday evening of the network's extensive interview with the Republican presidential candidate's ex-wife.

While I hate seeing someone get trashed for past mistakes... Newt should realize that if he calls all the other candidates liars and other names, he should also be able to take personal attacks.

Which wife again? Children from which marriage are with him now? What family values does he believe are important again?

So, the nuts don't fall far from the tree. Not surprizing that these two are just as confused about national politics as their dad. Luckily, there's zero chance that Sir Wed-a-lot will get elected, especially since he's stated that Sarah Palin would be a big part of his team. Look out Callista (wife #3). Wife #4 is locked in the Newt Tractor Beam.

It makes sense that Gingrich's daughters are defending him regardless of his sordid past. What child wouldn't love to have their dad be president?

They must be in his will.
Tifanny's anyone? Half a million dollars can buy you a lot of clothes and jewelry.
I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. His daughters didn't learn much, did they?

What a surprise, a Gingrich smear piece from Drudge Report, which no doubt was influenced by the hidden parasites/elitists working on Rove Plan to Elect the Next Neocon Robot.

Is Newt Gingrich and daughters suggesting that his ex wife shouldn't be interviewed or talked to on national television? I thought that there was freedom of speech here in this country. Is that since it could hurt the candidate that she is no longer allowed?
