150 years after the beginning of the Civil War, it appears that sectionalism still draws breath. Mr. Gingrich understands that the label, "Massachusetts Moderate," calls up echoes of "Damned Yankee" in the minds of conservative South Carolinians.

Listening to Mitt's speech, it sounds like he thinks he actually won. 80percent of his speech was bashing Obama... he MIGHT want to worry about the guy who just BEAT him. Romney is so delusional and full of himself. I dont know which America he keeps talking about going back to?? Bush's? Reagan's? Clinton's? He LOST.
    L.O.S.T.
    LOST.
    L-O-S-T.
    lost.
    Lost.

how many ways do you spell it.
I guess Mitt must be illiterate.

Why are Newt's divorces such a big deal this long after the fact? Reagan divorced his first wife and went on to become one of the most beloved presidents in recent times.

Really? How ridiculous is it that the party of "family values" within a state that is widely believed to be predominately evangelical has chosen a man of such ill repute to be the leader of the greatest country on earth!

For those who defend this man .... get a grip!

Can we really see Newt appointing anyone as an adviser who would disagree with him and keep his head on straight? What about foreign politics, could he negotiate with those who would dare to disagree with him? Come on America, we need 2 competent candidate because either one might win. Not Newt, please!

I think this will be the first time since 1980 that S.C. was Wrong, come November. LOL – Romney will be the winner – these states such as Iowa ( green acres) & N.H. ( Petticoat Junction) & S.C ( Mayberry R.F.D. ) really doesn't matter – they are all farmers in Iowa & all they want is the government to Buy their Corn – for ethanol – and N.H same way – all 3 of those states are mostly white and speak only 1 language – these states are like being in Kindergarten or grade school – (all Diners / Drive-ins / & Dives ) wait til they get to Florida & ON, where such as florida speaks 4 languages – and Calif -where there is millions of ppl – and especially Texas – we have 2 or 3 languages we have to hear constantly, ( barely english, in some places) in addition to the fact that we have 28 million people in our state. You know what the old saying is : ""If you can't Run with the Big Dogs, stay on the porch"" or is it "stay Under the Porch" ? Just wait til California / N.Y. and some of the Primaries Day Comes.

The hatred republicans feel towards a black man is allowing them to pick a man of "low moral fiber" as Newt liked to call Clinton as he was doing the same thing. Evangelicals can't bring themselves to vote for a non Christian as they see Romney or a Catholic. So take the adultery and move on. Very sad... Things haven't changed as much as we like to think!
