Obama will challenge Congress in ambitious State of the Union

Washington (CNN) - If history is any guide, President Obama will reach for the stars during his State of the Union address tonight. But in the end, reality will bring his plans back down to Earth.

Obama's "blueprint" for 2012 may run into similar partisan roadblocks that trimmed his lofty hopes for last year.

The only way Obama can get work done is to get a whole new congress that's willing to work for their paycheck and insurance. If I set around my job everyday just saying no to everything, I would be fired!

So in typical Obama fashion, we're going to get the same old "it's not my fault" dog and pony show from the president. It's getting old.

Obama's speech will again be laced in flowery rhetoric, attacks and blame on Congress and his typical 99 percenter division! The FACTS are that he and his policies have been terrible for America and this will be the LAST State of the Union speech we'll have to listen to from this 1-term president!

  6. vote the Tea Party OUT in 2012

if he is going to bring up the tax the rich thing again he is beating a dead horse because it is NOT going anywhere. All Obama can basically do at this point in try to show that the GOP is willing to let the economy flounder so they can possibly take the White House in 2013 than to do something about it. But with the clown car they have trying to do that right now Obama may not have to do much unless the only people that go to the polls in November are far right evangelical Republicans.

They State of the Union address is nothing but a washing machine stuck on spin cycle. A big political game, and that is it.

So stupid I don't even watch it anymore.
