(CNN) – The feud between two former House speakers continued Wednesday, with Newt Gingrich pushing back against Nancy Pelosi's claims that Gingrich "will never" win the White House.
"She lives in a San Francisco environment of very strange fantasies and very strange understandings of reality," Gingrich said on NBC's "Today." "I have no idea what's in Nancy Pelosi's head."

The House minority leader strongly insisted Tuesday night on CNN's "John King, USA" that Gingrich could never become president, saying he's done "plenty of dumb things."
"There's something I know, the Republicans, if they chose to nominate him, that's their prerogative. I don't even think that's going to happen," Pelosi warned.
Her comments set off a firestorm of speculation over whether Pelosi was implying she knew something about the candidate that could potentially damage his candidacy. The inflection in her voice, however, indicated she felt strongly that Gingrich was not qualified for the Oval Office.
Asked Wednesday morning about the interview, Gingrich said if Pelosi was hiding something she should name it.
"I have a simple challenge: Spit it out," Gingrich said.
Pelosi confirmed Wednesday that Pelosi was simply suggesting she believed Gingrich to be unelectable.
“Any reference I would make to the Ethics Committee is confined to the public record," Pelosi said in a statement.
Pelosi made headlines in December when she said in an interview that she had information on Gingrich that would be released "when the time's right."
Her office later clarified her remarks, saying Pelosi was referring to the public record on Gingrich's 1997 ethics violation in the House, the records of which are online.
The House minority leader's name is frequently used as an attack line against Gingrich on the campaign trail, with rivals blasting the former speaker for pairing up with Pelosi in a 2008 commercial urging the country to "take action" on climate change.
Gingrich has repeatedly described the commercial as "the dumbest" move he's made in recent years.

Newt is the president of Fantasy land.
Pelosi is using a "gossip" strategy that is quite effective. Sort of like blowing sweet nothing in someones ear but it works. Smart politics. But if what she says is true, then I would think she would want to keep her suggestion to herself till after they nominate and thus using this info to make Obama a shoe in. Maybe she really wants to scare the GOP into nominating Romney instead - so maybe she really really fears Gingrich could win. Who knows for sure. If he should get elected, what a nightmare for the extreme left wing!! lol
Sure..."spit it out"...he'd love that so he can try to spin it away like his infidelity and snake like treatment of his ex-wives when they were ill. Call Pelosi whatever you want, but she's not stupid...she'll hold that information until if and when Gingrich becomes the nominee (doubtful, but with the GOT being as crazy as it is these days possible) and then spill it in November just as we're going to the polls and it's too late to make it go away. She's dumb as a fox!
If she were young & hot Newt would hit on her. He's always looking to upgrade to his next wife. No morals. No ethics. Even several republicans who ahve worked closely with himstated he is not fit to be president. And they want him to win the nomination? This is their election to lose and if they nominate him, as Ann Coulter stated, "We will lose".

if Pelosi knows of any criminal activity on the part of Gingrich and doesn't report it properly, i have one word for her: obstruction... oh wait, the laws and rules the rest of us live by don't apply to Congress... maybe we should look at her insider trading practices to see if we can gleen a clue as to what she's hinting at...

Newt has a lot of nerve talking about anyone else living in a fantasy land. His ideas cannot be implemented, but he doesn't seem to care about that. I remember when Newt became speaker of the House and one of the first ideas he had was to give poor people a tax credit for buying a computer so everybody could be hooked up to the internet. It never occured to him that the poor have trouble paying rent, buying food, taking care of a family let alone buy a computer to get a tax credit sometime in the future when their taxes actually fall below the price of a computer. At this time computers were almost a couple of thousand dollars. I just laughed when I heard him say that. He has no clue of what will work and why it won't.
I live in San Francisco. Are you calling everyone who lives in San Francisco strange, pea brain? There's the politics of division again. Invented by Gingrich. Pelosi is right, creep. You'll never win the White House. Watch.
It just seems that way to you, Newt, because you lack the ability to comprehend the most basic logic. That's why you inflate yourself to be some kind of intellectual, which you are definitely not. so what that you can't understand what's in her mind. Who made you the standard bearer? You're a fool. Gingrich is running scared because that man knows exactly what will be coming out on him very soon. One word of advice for Gingrich is to drop out of the race now before that jerk is humiliated.

After watching and listening to Newt Gingrich I am wondering if he thinks older Americans do not remember what he did during his years in office. Trying to sugar coat those years and his "accomplishments' may not reverberate well with us.
I do not always understand what is in Newt's head either. Whatever he thinks plays well is what he says and does.
What's the fantasy that she's living in? That you left the house in disgrace? You did. That you committed ethics violations? You did. That you are unstable and have crazy ideas that seem to fail all the time? You are and you do. So, what exactly is fantasy in all this?
