(CNN) – The feud between two former House speakers continued Wednesday, with Newt Gingrich pushing back against Nancy Pelosi's claims that Gingrich "will never" win the White House.
"She lives in a San Francisco environment of very strange fantasies and very strange understandings of reality," Gingrich said on NBC's "Today." "I have no idea what's in Nancy Pelosi's head."

The House minority leader strongly insisted Tuesday night on CNN's "John King, USA" that Gingrich could never become president, saying he's done "plenty of dumb things."
"There's something I know, the Republicans, if they chose to nominate him, that's their prerogative. I don't even think that's going to happen," Pelosi warned.
Her comments set off a firestorm of speculation over whether Pelosi was implying she knew something about the candidate that could potentially damage his candidacy. The inflection in her voice, however, indicated she felt strongly that Gingrich was not qualified for the Oval Office.
Asked Wednesday morning about the interview, Gingrich said if Pelosi was hiding something she should name it.
"I have a simple challenge: Spit it out," Gingrich said.
Pelosi confirmed Wednesday that Pelosi was simply suggesting she believed Gingrich to be unelectable.
“Any reference I would make to the Ethics Committee is confined to the public record," Pelosi said in a statement.
Pelosi made headlines in December when she said in an interview that she had information on Gingrich that would be released "when the time's right."
Her office later clarified her remarks, saying Pelosi was referring to the public record on Gingrich's 1997 ethics violation in the House, the records of which are online.
The House minority leader's name is frequently used as an attack line against Gingrich on the campaign trail, with rivals blasting the former speaker for pairing up with Pelosi in a 2008 commercial urging the country to "take action" on climate change.
Gingrich has repeatedly described the commercial as "the dumbest" move he's made in recent years.

SOUTHERN HOTTIE - Well, at least she doesn't live in a place where serial marriages is the norm!
========================================================================
California?? Are you serious??? Serial marriages are tame compared to what flies in LALA Land! It's ALL good out there!!
Lizzie, you have a lot of venom for the left, but you forget about your precious GOP. Newt led the charge against Clinton's adultery WHILE HE WAS CHEATING. Left his wife when she got CANCER, and then got reprimanded by the house Ethics committee. Then you had Tom DeLay illegally redistrict Texas (jailed), you had a GOP senator who was sexting congressional pages, Dick Cheney ousted an active CIA agent in retaliation for going against his fabricated WMD evidence, your party is actively trying to kill the EPA because they think it's a liberal institution (yeah, created by NIXON).... I mean, do you ever look at yourself and your party or do you just wanna play Red Team vs Blue Team?
Seitz - A land of strange fantasies? I live in SF, and the only strangeness going on around me is ....
========================================================================
You forgot to mention people walking around naked, eating in restuarants naked, etc. I'm sure you can think of a few more if you really try. San Francisco has more in common with Jupiter than it does the rest of the USA.
Unfortunately we know only to well what inside Newts head nothing but perversion
I love it when Newt talks about giving the poor a paycheck instead of welfare. The years of Bush spending has created the "newly poor." The middle class, who pay the taxes, is disappearing. When we're gone, where will government revenue come from? 'Guess the rich will finally have to pay the same tax rate as the extinct middle class.
Seriously Newt, PUT THE PIPE DOWN!
i'm no gingrich fan but pelosi is a fruit loop.san francisco owes the nation an apology, better yet seceed.
Pelosi said she knows something about him and he won't be President. The image of what she would know and noone would, made me go ewwwwww. Just the thoughts of it. ;D
You know.... I REALLY hadn't missed seeing Pelosi's ugly face on the Ticker. Her demotion in 2010 was a major accomplishment for the American people.
Listen, if America lets Newt become the candidate, then that will for sure guarantee that Obama will be re-elected. Nancy is not kidding, she will destroy him with her information. We all know that for him to be booted by his peers in congress for Ethics violations, there is more than we know. She will make sure that he is destroyed because of the information she has. I hope that America does not vote for Newt, because he will get destroyed and Obama will for sure win!
"She lives in a San Francisco environment of very strange fantasies and very strange understandings of reality," Gingrich said on NBC's "Today."
How can somebody with a PhD, a so-called serious politician and a Republican primary contender come up with such an illogical and baseless statement? I understand Newt is not stupid because it's his job to pander to his base; but those who buy into this and follows him are just IDIOTS, plain and simple.
Gingrich is amazing. There's no level too low for this man, he'll slither to avoid discussion on issues that paint him less than favorably. He consistently attacks the messenger rather addressing the question or issue. His attack on "the media" when he was asked about his infidelities was a perfect example. It's cowardly. Considering his history, his despicable past, I'm just astounded that the self-proclaimed "family values" party would have any part of this lying piece o' crap – then again, that "family values" nonsense is just that, nonsense. It's as much a ruse as mr. gingrich is.
New Gingrich. Imagine that – he is the model that evangelicals and extremists will hold up to their children:
"Yes, Johnny, marriage is between one man and one women...and you can have as many wives as you wish ...just make sure you find God and ask forgiveness for your adulteries at least TWO years before you run for the presidency of the US. Evangelicals LOVE hypocrites – it makes them feel good to forgive sinners... and besides (between you and me) they are very gullible anyway, and we can make them believe what we want them to so long as we sprinkle our public conversations with liberal doses of "God, flag, and family values" ...
Don't understimate Mr. Gingrich's chances of being elected President. After all, this country has a constituency that was clueless enough to re-elect George W. Bush back in 2004. So you see, it's the calibre of the voters that we should be concerned with, not the candidates.
Only a fool would believe this woman...or any other person about who WILL be the next president. As a reasonably intelligent person...I'll make my own decision, and I don't need some witch to tell me what the future will be. WE MAKE OUR OWN DESTINY. Don't be fooled by Poloci's brainless tactic. Unless she's planning to end Newts life, she has NO CLUE as to what the future brings.
Regarding Newts Marriages...When you apply for a job, does the state of your past marriages have ANY bearing on YOUR ABILITY to do the job? Nope, so why be manipulated by the media's attempts to make a mountain out of a mole hill?
Don't be stupid and let the media manipulate you. Make YOUR OWN mind up. Who do you want leading OUR Country? A NICE GUY or someone with some Balls. If you wish to come out on top...you choose the guy with some Balls
Newt is now exposed!! The Ethics Reform Act of 1989 prohibits ex-congress members (Newt) from lobbying for ONE YEAR after leaving office. So of course he has a contract written with Freddie/Fannie for that ONE YEAR (1999-2000 after leaving office in 1999) that prohibits "lobbying services". Then after the 1 year restriction has a new contract made (2001-2006) where his restrictions from lobbying have magically disappeared!! This is a new reveal indeed. Newt is a lobbyist.
Is she trying to help Gingrich? Words like that from Nancy Pelosi are tantamount to a 'double-dog dare' to right-wing Republicans. They'll nominate him just out of spite.
I look forward to Nancy Pelosi spilling her dirt on Newt. However, I just don't think it will be necessary. Newt is self-destructing everytime he opens his mouth. This guy has no morals and no scruples. He comes across as arrogant and self serving. It's just a matter of time before Newt, the "historian", will be history.
**** RLA
wire palladin- Wow from SF and you support Nancy and the left coast wing nuts??? Surprise surprise.. Oh did you notice California is a failed state under the left's leadership???

Newt Gingrich is a terrible, terrible human being!
You know the kid in school who was nasty to the girl he had a crush on? Newt and Nancy, hmmmm! Go ahead Newt, make your move. Calista won't mind.
Like most fascist nut cases, Emperor Newt is pretty disconnected from reality.
His scorched-earth politics will further set the country back domestically and internationally.
Take Newt out of the equation and just look at Pelosi. She's a kook plaine and simple.
i can see why republicans dont like the word education, once a republican is educated a democrate is born
