GOP: Obama is dividing Americans

(CNN) - Republicans said Tuesday night that President Barack Obama's "trickle-down government" has held back, rather than speed up, economic recovery.

"When President Obama claims that the state of our union is anything but grave, he must know in his heart that this is not true," said Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels - citing high debt and unemployment above 8% - in the official GOP response to the State of the Union address.

But we are recovering!! It's working better than "trickle-down wealth!" It's been over ten years or more and the "wealthy" never trickled down a doggone thing!

Looks like the hypocrites and liars in the GOBP deathcult wanna spin the spotlight as far away from their disastrous policies as possible. It is the GOBP deathcult that plays "us v. them" politics with its constant demonizations of the President, Dems, workers, the poor, minorities, environmentalists, women, etc. It is the filthy rich predators in the GOBP deathcult who have been attacking and dividing the rest of us for three decades.

And good thing Daniels isn't a doctor, because no one would trust his word. The economy was "grave" back when Daniel's boss, GWB, and his GOBP deathcult cronies crashed the economy with failed policies and deliberately under-regulation. The economy now is "recovering", which is a vastly better diagnosis than the "grave" economy the GOBP created.

I expect R-money will be spreading similar lies in the days to come. As a noted columnist pointed out recently, R-money can't run against the President's actual record, so instead R-money will try to create a new version of the President, complete with different goals, aspirations and accomplishments, to run against, because the real President has succeeded in ways R-money and his elitist psychopathic cronies in their deathcult can never admit.

Oh! please!!! Pres. Obama is not dividing America. Those who are not ready to extend their hands in : working together; pay their fair share in taxes; feel the pain of those who are hurting, are the ones who are dividing America.

the problem that the GOP has with this spin is that many Americans have not forgotten what took place prior to 2009...the most dangerous problem they have is an educated public.................

Mitch Daniels reminds me of a character in an old 1940's movie who has his face changed to keep everyone from
    discovering he was a nazi.

GOP politicians have unfortunately become the most divisive with "no compromise" statements coming from the very top of the ranks...Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, et al.

President Obama tries to work with both sides, yet the GOP continues to oppose even their own Republican ideas when the president publicly supports it...debt commission, tax cuts, conservative mandate, etc.

Will this change from an uncooperative, divisive House? Americans can see the truth over any doublespeak, Gov. Daniels.

Here's a bulletin for you Mitch. Your party has divided the American people. Your party, and mainly your former boss, Bush, You worked as an economic advisor. Your party broke the nation. Your party did this momentous feat in a mere 8 years, and during this time your party lined the pockets of the wealthy, and mega wealthy. Regardless, of how you try to spin the truth, it will show in the history books that your party is at fault, and should have been held accountable. Hopefully, the voters will do the right thing, by turning their backs on you and your party. Much like you and your party, hasd one to the American people.

There is a huge income and tax disparity in our country. This is an inconvenient truth for Republicans. When the President points this truth out they resort to calling him divisive.
We're no longer falling for your reality spins GOP, and your divide and conquer tactics will prove themselves useless come November.
