On call with conservatives, Romney speaks to Mormon beliefs

(CNN) – In a recent conference call with conservatives across the country, Mitt Romney expounded upon subjects he usually doesn't talk much about: Jesus and eternity.

Asked on the call how his faith had shaped his success as a businessman and his political career, the presidential candidate spoke about "a conviction that life is eternal, that your family is your greatest prize, that ultimately what we accomplish in life is of little significance compared to the interests of the savior Jesus Christ and his purposes."

sad as it is, many on the far right STILL don't belive that being a Mormon is also being a Christian ,matters not if you believe in Jesus. They still look at things like polygamy and this being a cult. And although many of those same people could care less about the fact for years Mormons would not accept Blacks in their church (mud people as they were referred to) there are some ohters that bring this issue up as well. I am not a supporter of Mitt by ANY means but I do think that it is unfair to judge him by his religious beliefs.

Tell you what – – – I would love to convert to the LDS church – if they can eliminate their belief on the 'Joseph Smith' thing – – when Jesus walked around over there between bethlehem & jerusalem – they think that he physically walked around here in america, for some odd reason, or another. IF it weren't for that, believe me, I would 'convert' So- that means, I guess I will stay with being a catholic, even though we think that the LDS is also christians – also don't believe everybody HAS to give 10% – even though it said that in the bible – ( give 10% of your earnings) back then, you were lucky to rub two coins together. Now Days – it's tough to be in this economy – where you have to pay for your utilities, and have a difficult time trying to do that – All that being said, I think 1 dollar is enough to give every week – that would be 50 cents for the wafer & 50 cents for the sip of wine.

The whole crop of GOP candidates is a fraud happening over and over and over. Not just one or two things, they are as busy as one-armed-paper-hangers doing what is good for their wallet, and no time to do what they should be doing.

Yes, please explain to us why believe blacks are filthy animals? Why would anyone want to vote for someone who is rooted in such evil, racists beliefs? This jerk can go to hell as far as I am concerned.

"Ultimately what we accomplish in life is of little significance compared to the interests of the saviour Jesus Christ and his purposes."

If so, then spare us your candidacy and go seek where those purposes are.
