(CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum received the endorsement of former Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle, just days before the Silver State caucuses.
Angle, a tea party favorite who failed in her 2010 bid to unseat Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, praised Santorum's character in a statement released Thursday by his campaign.

"He is a strong fiscal and social conservative who stands on principles above politics," Angle said in the release. "His continuous opposition to Amnesty, Obamacare, the bail-outs, and cap and trade are a perfect fit with our main street Tea Party movement."
Santorum said her backing will be a "terrific boon to our campaign as the Nevada Caucus approaches."
Santorum is currently in third place ahead of Saturday's contest in Nevada, behind Mitt Romney and Newt Gingirch, according to the most recent polling in the state.

"In another indication of the difficulty President Obama's reelection campaign faces, only 36 percent of likely voters grade the administration's handling of the economy at good or excellent, according to a new Rasmussen poll."

Just 9 more months until we throw Obama onto the scrapheap of history...........
"main street Tea Party"? That's an oxymoron.
Well, they're both cuckoo, I mean, right-wing extremists and so it makes sense.
Main Street is not a place where the tea people are. I wonder if her comments will come back to haunt Santorum.
Oh Rickster, grandiose words about "just 9 more months until we throw Obama onto the scrapheap of history". Are you a poet or just a thoughtless hack?
I wonder did she give him a chicken along with her endorsement.
""He is a strong fiscal and social conservative who stands on principles above politics," Angle said in the release."
I've yet to see any politician stand on principles above politics.
Dream, Rickster, dream!
Wonder if she'll be leading the chant come voting time? You know,"We're number 3,we're number 3." Talk about trying to save your own behind, backing this misanthrope.
Wow! And I though the Trump endorsement would be the most useless piece of news today. LOL
More proof the Tea Party is a co-opted group of the GOP. Anyone supporting Rick as a tea party candidate is out of their gourd. The tea party started as a grass roots and unaffiliated group around the Ron Paul 2008 run. Now look at it! taken over by establisment GOP like Palin and these others. Pity.
Poor Rick, getting this endorsement is like getting a 3-headed chicken for your birthday.
Again we hear from someone with the same relevance as King-Combover, The-Former-Governor-Of-Alaska-Who-Quit-Before-Her-Term-Expired-To-Save-Her-From-Getting-Impeached, and the not-witch from Delaware. When are these "never-weres" going to leave the rest of us alone?
Oh, and Rickster, if you still believe it is the 4-and-the-door, why has the President gained points in every poll showing potential matchups between himself and all the Republicans?
well, another blow to the Santorum campaign. If he keeps getting these kind of endorsements he might as well quit now and keep what little dignity he has.
Wow. Not a surprise. This support from a woman who said that if she made it to congress she would work to abolish the separation of church and state. Be afra.....aw F it! Seriously, there are actually people still endorising losers? Santorum has a snowball's chance in Hell of getting a POTUS bid. He's the necessary evil that fractures the GOP. Don't try shock and awe on him. He's already been there. FROTHY 2012!!!!!
What about those second amendment remedies, Sharon? This woman belongs in an institution. Do you really want this endorsement Mr. Santorum?
Joe from CT, not Lieberman - Oh, and Rickster, if you still believe it is the 4-and-the-door, why has the President gained points in every poll showing potential matchups between himself and all the Republicans?
============================================================================================
Obama's support is almost gone. In only TEN states, is the percentage of people that think he should be re-elected over 50%. And in several of those states (like California!) it is BARELY over 50%. Obama's negatives are high and getting higher with every passing day.
Even more bad news, Obama is below that 50% mark in ALL of the swing states.
Four and the Door FOR SURE!!
I hate to break the bad news to Rickster, but even Rasmussen has Obama at over 50% approval ratings these days. Obmama in a walk over these clowns. Does anyone think the person who got blown out by Harry Reid in a GOP year is relevant?
Nothing like one loser throwing support to another loser. Did she actually think she would be helping his cause? hahahahahaha
I'm not so sure Mr. Santorum is all that excited. He already has his limit of screwballs on his side.
Receiving her endorsement is like getting advice on how to pilot the space shuttle from someone that failed the driver’s license test.
And the winner of the coveted Angle endorsement is......................
B.F.D. An endorsement of a noboby by a nobody means nothing.
Another indication that all the semi-legitimate GOPers are staying on the sidelines as the President earns his well deserved second term.
Republican/Tpers please again ask yourselves why would the rest of America vote for one of your nominees when you don't want to vote for them yourselves?
