(CNN) - Celebrity business magnate Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, telling reporters he will not mount an independent campaign if Romney is the Republican nominee.
Trump, who has repeatedly flirted with the possibility of his own White House bid, revealed his decision in Las Vegas two days before Nevada's Saturday caucuses.

Who cares? Trump's endorsement carries no weight except to Trump. Face it, he is a media hor and he pops up every few days to get on TV and get a few million dollars in free publicity.
I do not understand WHY they have not & HOW they have not (meaning all the news anchors, their team, the countless analysts, etc.) figured out that except for Nasty Newt, everyone else including Donald Trumpoholic (He is drunk on his own ego) is running for Vice-President.
Trumpoholic, knows he will never be a candidate for President, but should he be chosen as the running mate for either Romney or whoever, that puts him in position to possibly be President one day & without argumenmt the 2nd most important elected office in America.
Rick Santorum has been running for the Vice-Presidency along with many of those who have fallen by the wayside. Obviously, Ron Paul will be better off joining Nasty Newt Gangrenerich (He is a major infection) as a candidate for President of the moon.

If I were Romney, I would say "Thanks for your endorsement Mr. Trump, but no thanks." This would work both ways for Romney, it would negate an endorsement, which theoretically cannot happen once Trump endorses him, and it also curry's favor from those opposed to Trump.
Trump is a businessman/actor/wannabe politician. He really has no business endorsing anybody. All he wants is the attention and spotlight on himself. He just needs to shut his trap and let us American people make the decisions of who we want to represent us. His input is completely unnecessary. Shame on ANYBODY who decides who to vote for because that is who Donald Trump is supporting. Any such people, if they do exist, should not have the right to vote in the first place.
