New York (CNNMoney) - American employers substantially stepped up their hiring in January, bringing the unemployment rate down for the fifth month in a row.
Employers added 243,000 jobs in January, the Labor Department reported Friday, marking a pick-up in hiring from December, when the economy added 203,000 jobs.

Unemp will hit 7.9 by June or July. Add that to foreign success and this is pretty much a wrap. Say what you want but it'll be a uphill battle for the GOP.

How many of those are people falling off unemployment because their time ran out as opposed to those who actually got off unemployment because they found jobs?

The spin doctors are working overtime I see every report that I have seen today was 150,000 jobs added for January and unemployment stays at 8.5%.
You can make the numbers anything you want them to be good or bad just look at how many people have just given up do to our failed economy policies.
Government can't create jobs unless you are working for the government.
