(CNN) - She may have dropped her bid for the presidential nomination, but Michele Bachmann is still adamantly pushing her conservative credentials.
Asked by Bloomberg TV’s Al Hunt to name the most conservative candidate remaining in the 2012 race, Bachmann responded by plugging herself.

"I was. I was the perfect candidate," Bachmann said. "America had their chance with the perfect candidate. But any of our candidates are going to be acceptable to the American people. More than acceptable, because right now, if you look at the Gallup map that came out this week, President Obama is in big trouble all across the country."
Bachmann’s assertion that she was the prefect candidate ultimately comes too late – the Minnesota congresswoman dropped out of the 2012 GOP race in January after finishing sixth in Iowa, the state where she was born.
She announced last week that she would seek re-election for her seat in Congress.

The perfect candidate. Apart from people not wanting to vote for you. Minor problem.
Please stay home and take care of your kids!!
If she was so perfect why did she not win any thing?
If she means that she was the perfect candidate for the bubble-headed bonebrain of the year, then yeah, she is.
Bachman 2016: Because She's Just Too Perfect For 2012
Lol! Go back and look at the polls goofy Bachmann. Obama is beating all the GOP clowns!
Ha ha, ho ho, hee hee. She was the perfect example of a dumb woman with a big mouth.
Well isn't that interesting.
Typical of someone who doesn't know light from dark.
She was the perfect candidate for comedians, she's the golden goose of gaffes. What a maroon!
No, Michelle...no, you're not. You're nothing even CLOSE to a "perfect candidate", for anything. So please, STOP TALKING. You've dropped out of the race, just like Sarah Palin...and guess what? Just like Sarah Palin, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU OR YOUR OPINIONS ANYMORE. And Obama is "not in big trouble", if you've paid attention to the early polls. He beats all of the current GOP candidates....those that are left over, that is. In essence, you did EVERYONE a favor by dropping out, not just the GOP. I guess now, you can stop having to deal with those "migraines", since the stress level has dropped.
SHe's somewhat delusional, isn't she?
This woman is beyond crazy. Does reality ever enter her universe, we the people didn't want her, she's a liar, she's a racist, a bigot, and just not very bright. I guess she's a star in the Republican world, but in the normal world, not so much.
I was the perfect superman, but I can't fly or freeze things with my breath or heat things with my eyes, but it's too bad because I was the perfect superman. WHAT??????
Perfect. Perfectly ridiculous, perfectly inane, perfectly put back in her place by the Iowa caucus-goers.
she's certifiable. no doubt about it.
This women is crazy . . . I tell ya, CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She beats Newt with her ego. Michelle, call somebody who cares and leave us alone.
You are correct..Michelle..The Perfect Candidate for OBAMA to win...sorry you dropped out.
she was the perfect candidate if your definition of perfect is someone who is a DELUSIONAL LOSER. by her own admission, she hears voices in her head that aren't hers. and she lost.
Yes, she was so perfect a candidate that even the people of her home state couldn't be convinced to vote for her...
Perfectly deluded. And going the full-Palin by trying to remind the media that she holds some sort of political relevance.
She is too stupid to know how imperfect a candidate she was. LOL
Bachmann says she was the ‘perfect candidate’ for the GOP WAX MUSIUM .
Professor Henry Jarrod is a true artist whose wax sculptures are lifelike. He specializes in historical tableau's such a Marie Antoinette or Joan of Arc
Yes she would be great on permanent collection at the house of wax , she's a true nut job icon.
She was the perfect candidate only in her mind! Her people have spoken and even they didn't want her.
