(CNN) - She may have dropped her bid for the presidential nomination, but Michele Bachmann is still adamantly pushing her conservative credentials.
Asked by Bloomberg TV’s Al Hunt to name the most conservative candidate remaining in the 2012 race, Bachmann responded by plugging herself.

"I was. I was the perfect candidate," Bachmann said. "America had their chance with the perfect candidate. But any of our candidates are going to be acceptable to the American people. More than acceptable, because right now, if you look at the Gallup map that came out this week, President Obama is in big trouble all across the country."
Bachmann’s assertion that she was the prefect candidate ultimately comes too late – the Minnesota congresswoman dropped out of the 2012 GOP race in January after finishing sixth in Iowa, the state where she was born.
She announced last week that she would seek re-election for her seat in Congress.

Apparently, many people did not think she was so perfect.
From the first time I heard this hack on TV, it became very clear that she has a huge ego. She actually thinks she is someone that the US needs. Minnesota can have her, she is a dangerous, egomaniacal witch who thinks the world should think like her. She doesn't make much sense,and is quite naieve on a lot of issues. I was just in Minnesota twice in the last year, and I never met one person who voted for her, or support her, or even like her. They told me she embarrasses Minnesotans every time she opens her mouth. Glad she is gone! Good luck Minn. You deserve better.
Bachmann wouldn't know the truth if it was chewing on her leg. She's just shake it off as hard and fast as she could and scream her lies even louder.
During her short-lived campaign I thought see was a little off her rocker. Now I think that she is COMPLETELY off her rocker. Case confirmed and closed.
We will have a woman president within my lifetime, and whoever breaks that glass ceiling better have the brains and leadership to run our country. Bachmann? No way!
If she had said she was a perfect idiot, I would have agreed with her.
It is truly sad that this woman still believes she would be the perfect candidate when so many people have proven otherwise. The best thing she could do is resign from Congress and move into a commune in the woods so we never have to hear from her again.
Perfect really just means "complete", and she is completely wrong for the job of president. So, in her own way, Bachmann is perfect.

Bachmann is perfect, alright – I'm just not sure for what! When she was running for President she kept saying how proud she was to be from Iowa. I wish she'd live up to that statement and move back there. Minnesota doesn't need her – period!
