(CNN) - She may have dropped her bid for the presidential nomination, but Michele Bachmann is still adamantly pushing her conservative credentials.
Asked by Bloomberg TV’s Al Hunt to name the most conservative candidate remaining in the 2012 race, Bachmann responded by plugging herself.

"I was. I was the perfect candidate," Bachmann said. "America had their chance with the perfect candidate. But any of our candidates are going to be acceptable to the American people. More than acceptable, because right now, if you look at the Gallup map that came out this week, President Obama is in big trouble all across the country."
Bachmann’s assertion that she was the prefect candidate ultimately comes too late – the Minnesota congresswoman dropped out of the 2012 GOP race in January after finishing sixth in Iowa, the state where she was born.
She announced last week that she would seek re-election for her seat in Congress.

I was honsetly so repulsed by this woman that I actually sent $50 to the MN Democrat running against her in 2008 and I don't even live in that state. That's how repulsive she is to me.

Seemingly, she's got a point. She is narrow-minded, bigoted, hyperreligious, ignorant, mean spirited and a serial liar. What Republican wouldn't see her as their ideal leader? The mystery is why they seem to prefer the professional politicians to their own home-grown nut jobs.

How embarrassing that this woman represents Minnesota while still pandering for national attention. I assume this latest publicity stunt of hers is based in her constant need of begging for national campaign funding to get her through her next Minnesota election.

It would almost appear as though she is delusional enough to think she can still score a Vice-Presidential nod. Romney-Bachman... Oh, yeah, THAT'LL happen.

I wonder if the CDC is investigating the disease of self-delusion that appears to run rampant in the Republican party. Palin, Gingrich, Trump, Bachmann.....even the poor Kardashians are not immune. Won't you help find a cure?

Come on guys, lay off Michelle. She was so much fun as a charter member of the clown car demolition derby. I miss her. I miss Sarah. I miss Donald. I miss Herman. I miss Rick. I can only hope that Newt sticks it out. Infact, how about we start a Super PAC to help him out? Maybe we can even get him into a 3rd party run, with Michelle by his side for VP... and Herman for Secretary of State, Rick for Press Secretary....
It is so sad to see how folks fail to do an honest self assessment. Of course, these comments are on cnn.com. Over on the fair and balanced network's site, I'm sure the lemmings are much more in agreement.
