The repubs trickle down policies of disaster and obstructionism have come full turn. I remembered Obama a year and a half ago begging the countries in the G10 not to use the cut every thing repubs austery policies so soon after the world economy disaster. Europe ignored this president and went with the repubs austerity policies that is crippling their whole continent right now, and running up even bigger deficits.

CNN: Were politics buried inside Eastwood's 'Halftime' commercial?

No. Because the commercial conveyed hope and optimism instead of gloom and doom, conservatives hate it.

I don't see how Obama couldn't. You have to fight fire with fire. If both sides agreed to not go with PACs, then that would be great, but since the Republicans are rolling with it, Obama needs their backing.

Maybe they can run some ads explaining why his administration has spent like drunken sailors, money we don't have and as a result doubled The United States of America's national debt from 8 trillion to 16 trillion? He ran on a platform of "gett'in our fiscal house in order" and "no more pork!" and he did the exact opposite. Is it any big surprise he's flipped on Super PAC's and all the corruption they allow into our political process? Big shocker there....President Obama looking to spend other peoples' money....mainly concerned with self and getting re-elected. Shocker!

TWO can play at this GAME

    Go Obama!

It certainly seems that Barack is off his $1 billion campaign goal, and is looking at SuperPACs to supplement his shortfall.

With the state of the economy after three years of doing what Bush did for the previous eight years, it's no surprise that Barack will join the short list of presidents who did not win re-election.

Even Bush Jr doesn't have that distinction.

First, the SCOTUS did not create a law, they interpreted a law Congress attempted to pass limiting free speech. What is potentially troubling about this announcement is the apparent collaboration between the Obama/Biden campaign and the SuperPac. During the republican primary it's been mentioned several times that the campaigns cannot be involved with the Super Pacs. If this is the case, it appears the POTUS and his team are clearly stating they won't abide by the law. Am I missing something?

President Obama has shown again that he stands for nothing. A true leader leads by example and Obama's example is that you do not base your decisions based on your commitments and promises, you change them depending on the direction that the wind is blowing. You will not get my vote, as I just can not believe anything you say anymore. You do not stand on principle ! Who are you really? Don't tell me, as your word means absolutely nothing.

Funny, he chewed out the Supreme Court for upholding this issue on national tv. I guess he will be apologizing to them and us for his duplicity.

all these superficial commentaries about the situation in america and no one seems to think or consider that israel controls history. we had best prepare for survival in the boonies if our sweet neighbor the mullah of iran sends a smoker over new york. America is not a safe haven anymore, look at korea and iran. they hate us and anyone defying their programs of world calamities. WE are overlooking the BIG things which mainly consist of personal survival. The eastern world is a rolling monster controlling the world with its powers developing and the oil energy. and we sweat over idiotic opinions here like they will rule tomorrow forever. The road ahead should be our objective. One nuke over here and all our elective, governmental processes will reverse....

Typical Obama...say one thing but do another... I guess the illegal funds he's receiving from the drug cartels in Mexico aren't enough for this greedy clown. He's a true politician...the only time he's telling a lie is when his mouth is moving. What a useless piece of garbage he's proven himself to be. Too bad, because of all of the underhanded, illegal activities the Democrats pull every election, he's guaranteed reelection. Wonder how many dead people and illegals, including ones they will buss across the border, will end up voting for him this election?

I'm donating to the super pack. I'm tired of democrats playing nice. We never get our message out to the people. We're always playing defense. It's time to strike back with the hard truthful ads of our own. It's time we hold the republicans responsible for their actions. They never have to defend their bogus statements, or their true economic positions. They have always taken advantage of the democrats sense of fair play. It's time to get dirty.

Falling far short of the 1 billion he claimed he would raise this election cycle, he has to rely on super PAC's.
