Behind Romney's Bain retirement deal

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) – Working in private equity can be lucrative. But leaving private equity can really pay, as everyone has learned recently from Mitt Romney.

The leading GOP presidential candidate is still pulling in millions from Bain Capital, a private equity firm he founded in the mid-1980s and retired from in 1999.

@ Sarah Palin, the fleecer, the big difference between Buffet and Koch is that one man"Buffet"wants to better mankind with his wealth,he knows he can't take it with him.Koch on the other hand can't get enough power and riches, not caring who he steppes on to get it.Koch is Repubs puppetmaster, where Buffet only confers and suggests ideas on how to better humanity,do your research before opening your mouth, you're starting to sound like TRUTH.Leave Dominican 4 Obama alone, enough said...

You are correct. It is not about the money anymore. But unlike Obama, it is not about the fame or the prestige or the eliticism of the office. It's about knowing you can do a better job and caring about your country.

It was never about the money. It has always been about the tax rates. Just because you sell money instead of widgets, you can declare your earned income as capital gains. That is grossly unfair.

BTW, Mitt Romney has no record on jobs creation. He claims to have created 100,000 jobs. People ask him to prove it. He can't. His reply, "Pres. Obama has made things worse." Mitt Romney's record is just words, just words.

I do think we all start crawling before running. I do not see anything impressive Romney did while Gov. in Mass. which enables him to think to do even bigger things for the country! What I hear from him is: "I worked in the private sector and I know how to do it"!
