Pro-Romney super PAC increases buy in Michigan

Washington (CNN) - Signaling a shift to the next major GOP battleground, the super PAC supporting Mitt Romney, Restore Our Future, bought an additional $640,000 in television ad time in Michigan, the group confirmed to CNN Monday.

Ads from the new buy start Tuesday.

The super PAC previously purchased $250,000 worth of commercials in Michigan, according to CNN's advertising consultant Kantar Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG).

Michigan, which holds its primary February 28, is setting up to be a key battleground, with rival candidate Rick Santorum vowing to fight hard there. A poll released Monday showed Santorum with a lead in the Wolverine State.

Restore Our Future is also currently up with commercials in Arizona, which votes February 28, and in Ohio, which holds its primary on March 6, Super Tuesday.

The group is expected to make buys in other Super Tuesday states soon, although officials with Restore Our Future refused to comment Monday on future plans.

All of the ads currently running from Restore Our Future are aimed at Newt Gingrich.

It is not known whether the ads in the new Michigan buy will continue hitting Gingrich or will pivot to go after Santorum.

Thanks again to the right-wing Supreme Court. I have noticed the Neo-cons have quit whining about the "liberal courts" and "legislating from the bench" since the Supreme Court became nothing more than an extention of the Republican Party. Democracy is a thing of the past...

That amount of money could really help people in need.

It is so nice to see that the money spent on negative ads could have brought at least 50 families out of foreclosure on their homes. This is why no GOP candidate will get my vote, you all just want that money for yourselves and have little sympathy for real Americans trying to put food on the table. The 8 years of Bush killed us, and none of us can afford that catastrophe again.

Here we go, look for Santorum and Newt to complain that Mitt has more money then them and watch as they try to vilify having put together a strong organization and fund raising machine.

Some people, in the real world, would look at having a very organized and well funded campaign as a good thing. After all I want our president to be well organized and have the skills of organizing large groups of people dispersed all across our nation.

The Koch brothers and others of their ilk (multinational corporations who care only about financial gain and to heck with our country) want Mittens to be the nominee because Mittens has shown he, like McCain before him, is willing to do anything for the nomination. Mittens has also shown he, like GW Bush before him, that he will be a willing puppet if ever POTUS, gladly doing the bidding of the wealthy ruling class to finish the dismantling of the American Middle Class.

Voting for Mittens is like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders.

Flip Flopper Romney spends all of his time trying to bash Obama and convince everyone to hate all of the other ridiculous GOP clowns trying to become POTUS...(pause)...(screaming laughter)...of which none of them will NEVER EVER BECOME...instead of trying to say what in the world that he stands for. Loser.

All of these buckets of money could have been used to build homes for every mutilated Iraqi and Afghanistan American soldier who lost their limbs or suffered head trauma. What a waste of cash to spend on these vile and unqualified morons who have offered nothing substantial to address our severe financial problems, health care problems, housing problems, interfering religion problems, and most of all for me, the war against the women of America.

This past year of utter filth coming out of the Republikkklan primary has been so demoralizing to all of us to see what trash we have trying to oust the only man in Washington who is actually working hard to resurrect this country from the damage done to it by Boy George. This campaigning makes middle school kids look like geniuses, The constant filth being thrown around from bums who call themselves moral while trashing our nation's President has shown the world how loathsome and illbred the entire Republikkklan party become.

Racist trash talking Gingrich megalomanical sleave, Sanctorum Talibanism against the rights of American women, Spaceman Romney is his plastic anyman suit who becomes more incoherent each day and quite embarrassing to boot, and old man Paul who refuses to admit he is a closet racist who owned and published a racist magazine for over 20 years but claims he never knew it was racist.

What a choice. Wake up America before these worthless bums finish their destruction of our country and us citizens. Vote out the racists and the taliban religionists. Vote for the safety and sovereignity of women over their own bodies and lives. Don't allow these evil people to take control of our lives.

Money money money. All the Repub candidates are treating the Office of President of the United States as if it were the featured buy in the Nieman Marcus Christmas catalog. Disgusting and reprehensible, the whole lot of them.

Mitt Romney is so desperate to win the GOP nomination, that he will employ every extreme measure including flip- flopping, lying, pandering, rigging straw polls, and swift boating his political opponents to become president.

"Increases Buy " ?? LOL he should take out a withdrawal – from the caymans – about 1 billion, at the very least. He will need it, to saturate the t.v. & radio waves – if he can blanket those – he will be our nominee.
