Angry lawmakers challenge lineup at hearing: 'Where are the women?'

Washington (CNN) - A pair of female Democratic lawmakers had a simple question Thursday about a controversial hearing on Capitol Hill.

"What I want to know is: Where are the women?" Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, said as she began her remarks at the top of hearing titled "Lines Crossed: Separation of Church and State. Has the Obama Administration Trampled on Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Conscience?"

Good question. Ladies, if we don't watch out, we will find ourselves barefoot and pregnant, cooking dinner for some fool who does not appreciate us. Beware the GOP as they do not like it that women have minds of their own. Religions have no business imposing their ideal on everyone. The Catholic Bishops need to turn their attention to their child molesting priests and let women make their own choices. After all, we are the ones who, in the end, bare most of the responsibility for the children we birth. Let us decide when or if we have them.

Patriot Awesome -Is me or does it seem like the GOP is doing their best to lose the 2012 election?

You're not the only one who thinks so, Patriot Awesome. They have the weakest field of nuts in the history of the party, they are trying their best to offend an important voting block, women and they are just plain out of touch with real American. Stating that their only goal is to beat President Obama does not make them look any better either.

Darren: Liberals do need some satifying, election year or not. We liberals have spent four years watching you Rethugs try to destroy this country because we dared to elect a black man to office. So yeah, President Obama is appealing to his liberal base like the Rethug circus is appealing to their .conservative base. However, my good man, GOP women take birth control too, sometimes for reasons other than just birth control, so President Obama is fighting for them too.

No. It isn't just you Patriot.
These people are f'ing it up so badly that it is starting to make me feel paranoid.
The ONLY way they could win in November is by rigging the election.
    Obama 2012.
