Washington (CNN) - There is a Senate tradition dating back to 1965. One specific desk in the Senate chamber has a drawer filled with candy. The senator assigned to that desk is responsible for keeping candy in it and providing sweets to all his or her colleagues.
Rick Santorum had the desk with the candy drawer, yet all that sugar didn't win him any endorsements for his presidential bid from former Senate colleagues.
FULL STORY

As an extremist, he is not going to get the support of moderate democrats and senators from his party are afraid to endorse anyone, due to potential repercussion from Rush Limbaugh and other fanatical pundits.
Santorum was voted most corrupt politician. That's why nobody supports/endorses him.
Where are the women supporting Santorum? Running to support Obama as fast as they can.
In fact where are the minorities, the seniors, the youth, the middle class, the poor in supporting Santorum? They aren't there – just as they aren't there along with female voters in not supporting any of the GOP candidates. Every single one of them are no where even near mediocre, much less credible candidates for the office of the presidency. Goes to show how little the GOP thinks of America to set up this ridiculous lineup for the people.
Come on Vote for Mitt Romney!!
The real question is, are there any members of the Senate willing to join Mr. Santorum in rolling back the last 3 centuries?
They don't like him. End of story.
well i am cornfused now. to me gignrich is an anygry little vengeful guy. with him out of the way, either romney or santorum would not be bad. i will wait and let the american people make their choice. obama and his bunch would not be too bad if we had a surplus instead of a deficit. its nice to help all those people.
Santorum still lives in the ninth century!!!!!
Where is all the support for Santorum in the Senate?
They know him and they don't like him.
U have had too much sugar
Come back to reality.
Even republicans won't vote for these embarassing bafoon canadates and will probably at least half will sit out the next election, like they have been doing in the caucus.
Child's play?
you ask this idiot...ha..
Hmmm – maybe they ALSO know how easy he is to beat in the general.
It's working in Michigan - dems are going to vote for Santorum just to make it easier for Dems to win in November.
Thanks for the idea, Rush and Karl. You taught us your sneaky tactics in 2008.
