Washington (CNN) – The White House repeatedly maintains President Barack Obama isn’t monitoring the day-to-day rhetoric Republicans fire at him on the campaign trail. But the president all but directly responded to Rick Santorum’s latest jab.
Over the weekend, during which the former Pennsylvania senator called Obama a “snob” for suggesting all young Americans should to go to college, Santorum told supporters in Michigan, “Oh, I understand why he wants you to go to college. He wants to remake you in his image. I want to create jobs so people can remake their children into their image, not his.”

Santorum disrespects President Obama, and thereby the Presidency, and yet he wants the job.
He misinterprets everything President Obama says, and now has even had the audacity to misinterpret
President Kennedy and his speech regarding separation of Church and State. He has no idea what
it takes to be President of United States. Every time he opens his mouth, he proves his total lack
of integrity and intelligence.
How can it possibly be a bad thing for a leader to focus on education for all! It's "snobbish" to believe that necessities such as affordable education & healthcare, should be kept as luxuries, only affordable by the wealthy! I realize he didn't mean it that way, but Santorums quip about "remaking your kids in his (President Obamas) image" is actually a positive statement!Because of the many stereotypes the Obama presidency has shattered, all American parents can dream about their kids getting a higher education & becoming president someday!!
mindi and southern, facts are facts and they are undisputed. You demonstrate either your cluelessness or, more likely, your chosen blindness. Here is the fact, there may be the groups mentioned by mindi, but here is the kicker, they were not launched by Obama. And the African Americans for Obama was launched by him. That is the point, that is the equivalent of Ron Paul launching a "white americans for Paul."

1. electorate dumb - union run liberal controlled schools churning out illerates and dropouts
2. hateful - look no further than this board and the likes of Nancy Pelosi
3. unemployed - 15% now thanks to Obama, Reid and Pelosi
4. broke - $16 TRILLION in debt and heading to $20 FAST, California, New York, etc.
