White House, Republicans talk compromise

Washington (CNN) – Republican leaders and the White House sent signals Wednesday of possible detente on jobs and energy legislation, but they offered few specifics and congressional Democrats questioned whether any progress would ensue.

President Barack Obama had a rare luncheon meeting with leaders of both parties in Congress, including House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. They are two of his biggest adversaries in the political wrangling that has brought public scorn of congressional inaction.

Yeah right. We are all too familiar with the GOP form of compromise – that is, "give us exactly what we want and we won't even consider what you want". The American voter is not fooled and hopefully the voice of reason will be heard on November 6th.

The Republicans know "we the people " see their greed and lack of love for the "common" man. The private companies want to control America and its interest and take the power of the nation away from the general public. They...BIG BUSINESS....is attentionlly are suppressing the American people through legal extortion called speculation and inflation. One word and the price of oil will drop from wall street.

This won't happen because the Teavengelicals of the Republican Party want our economy to fail. This has remained true for three years.
