(CNN) – Steve Bridges, an actor best known for impersonating then-President George W. Bush at the 2006 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, died last week at the age of 48, his manager said Sunday.
Bridges' portrayal of Bush was replayed around the world following the 2006 event, which was most notable because the real president was standing right next to Bridges on stage.
According to Bridges' website, the actor also appeared as former President Bill Clinton and current President Barack Obama.
A statement from Bridges' manager said the actor returned from performing in Hong Kong and complained of feeling "super jetlagged."
"A message left for Mr. Bridges on Friday went unanswered," the statement said. "Bridges' maid discovered his body in his Los Angeles home Saturday morning, March 3, 2012. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time."

Visited China – returns and dies. Hmmmmm....
Wrong one.
in other news...life went on...
i know there is an off color joke I can make but I can't think of it.
Hmm sounds like he had some of what Breitbart had – in his drink!!
This man was spot-on and hilarious. My sympathies to his family and friends.
One imposter passes awy which is unfortunate while another continues in the elected position as president. Interesting.
First thought: "Oh no, what happened to Will Ferrel??"
Bet they bumped him off. They never liked that guy. And you know who "they" are. Late in the Bush Admin, this guy became a thorn in the behind. Payback is hell, huh?
Talented actor... sad.
Bird Flu
Hello Death? You got the wrong one.
Sudden death after a very long plane flight in a comparatively young, presumably healthy person? Almost definitely a pulmonary embolus. Sad.
I'm sorry to hear of his death. He was truly entertaining. Unlike the person he mimicked he didn't falsify intelligence data to ultimately cause the death of hundreds of thousands of people, including over 4500 Americans. He did not attack one of the few nations in the region who didn't particiapte in the 9/11 terrorist act. He did not keep the cost of the war off the books and contribute heavily to the cratering if the American economy. He should not have been held for war crimes. "W" on the other hand...
