Romney: A film critic?

Jackson, Mississippi (CNN) - GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney offered a few suggestions Friday to the director of a new film about President Barack Obama.

"I'll tell ya, I've got a long list of people for that producer to talk to," Romney told an audience at a farmers' market in Jackson, Mississippi. "And if someone's looking for things that the president's done wrong, it's a long, long, long list."

The Oscar-winning director of the new campaign video, Davis Guggenheim, told CNN's Piers Morgan on Thursday he couldn't find any flaws with the president to include in his 17-minute campaign-style film.

Romney brushed off the film as an "infomercial" and offered a laundry list of Americans he said could provide a different view of Obama.

"First of all, talk to the 24 million Americans who are out of work or under-employed in this country," Romney said of Guggenheim. "How about our soldiers coming home who can't find work? He can talk to them as well. How about the folks who are having a hard time filling up their car because the price of gasoline has doubled under this president?"

Guggenheim was at a loss to offer any criticism of Obama when pressed by the host of CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight on Thursday.

"The negative for me was there were too many accomplishments," Guggenheim told Morgan. "I had, you know, 17 minutes to put them all in there."

But Romney found another opportunity to criticize the president later in his speech to Jackson voters, after a man asked him whether he would "stop apologizing for America."

Hitting the president for making his first foreign trip to Cairo to repair relations with the Muslim world, Romney – whose campaign-style book is titled "No Apology" – then offered a more nuanced answer.

"We may make mistakes as a nation from time to time and step on others' toes, and we'll say we're sorry for that," he said. "But apologizing for America is something I will never, ever do."

The GOP candidate also used his second stop in Mississippi to brandish his status as an "unofficial Southerner."

"Mornin' y'all," he said to greet the audience. "I got started right this morning with a biscuit and some cheesy grits. I'll tell you! Delicious."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, and his shiite smells like roses and he still walks on water but he just can't figure out how the economy works and how to get the country back to work.

Goebbels would be very very proud of this man.

How about your list Willard? Starting with the reason you hide money in off shore accounts. Your list would be far longer and much more damaging for America than the president's list could EVER be. Keep talking and pretty soon everyone is going to find out what I already know – and that is – you are a VERY ignorant person (who only appears intelligent when standing besides a fat adulterer, a self-made pope and an angry old man). Once you stand beside our very CAPABLE president – you will look like the greedy, selfish, liar you REALLY are.

"Mornin' y'all," he said to greet the audience. "I got started right this morning with a biscuit and some cheesy grits. I'll tell you! Delicious."

Unbelievable. Anyone with any intelligence at all would know he is laughing at you but that doesn't appear to be the case with that crowd.

Mitt the weathervane. A cowboy in AZ, a Yankee in NH, eating grits in MS anything to try to raise a vote. Blame Obama for everything including ignoring the troops returning from the unnecessary war started by Bush and the neocons.

So WHAT IS Obama doing wrong Mr Money Bags? You live in a glass house, might not want to throw too many of those stones. Obama is doing all he can, and represents the country well. Should he early enlist his daughters into the service so they can fight in your WW3 while your sons sit home and count how much money is in their trust funds? I mean, cmon man.. YOU (Mitt) really cant talk....

Total lies. Look it up, it's all out on the web. Mass had very LOW unemployment (5% or BELOW) and actually a LABOR shortage for most of Romney's term.

"First of all, talk to the 24 million Americans who are out of work or under-employed in this country," Romney said of Guggenheim.

And then talk to the hundreds of millions that have gotten their jobs back since he took office (including yours truly).
