Trump: Candidates should quit for Romney

(CNN) – For their decision to remain in the 2012 presidential election, Mitt Romney supporter Donald Trump called the other Republican candidates "disgraceful."

The real estate mogul said it is time for Republicans to unite around the eventual nominee Romney to avoid aiding President Barack Obama's re-election.

Crowley: Strong showing for Romney in South could be beginning of end

Washington (CNN) - Rick Santorum hopes to parlay his weekend win in Kansas into a strong Tuesday in Mississippi and Alabama.

The idea is to blow up the Southern strategy of Newt Gingrich's campaign and muscle Gingrich out of the race.

Poll: Tight race for Obama vs. Romney, Santorum

(CNN) – President Barack Obama is running even with the top two Republican presidential candidates in hypothetical general election matchups, according to a new national survey.

The Washington Post/ABC News poll released Monday showed Obama statistically tied with Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum among registered voters. Obama received 47% support to Romney's 49% and 49% to Santorum's 46%.

CNN: Santorum, Gingrich vie for Southern supremacy
Coming off another victory in conservative territory, Rick Santorum on Sunday rejected arguments that frontrunner Mitt Romney's lead in the delegate count for the Republican presidential nomination was virtually insurmountable. "This isn't a mathematical formula - this race has a tremendous amount of dynamics," Santorum told the NBC program "Meet the Press" the day after winning the Kansas caucuses to bolster his second-place standing behind Romney.

CNN: Reid defends White House relationship
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Sunday pushed back on the suggestion that the White House is detached from Senate Democrats. "I can place a phone call anytime, it's returned immediately," the Nevada Democrat said on CNN's "State of the Union." "I feel very good about my relationship with the White House and the Senate's relationship."
