(CNN) – For their decision to remain in the 2012 presidential election, Mitt Romney supporter Donald Trump called the other Republican candidates "disgraceful."
The real estate mogul said it is time for Republicans to unite around the eventual nominee Romney to avoid aiding President Barack Obama's re-election.

"If they're good Republicans they're going to say, 'Look, we've got to beat Obama, lets get together,'" Trump said Monday on Fox News. "Somebody has to get together and end this thing because now it's getting tiresome and people are not liking it. The only one liking it is Obama."
Trump, who flirted with his own presidential bid earlier in the year, pushed back against recent Santorum wins.
"He's not winning … he's not going to win and it's just not going to happen," Trump said, after pointing to his 2006 Pennsylvania Senate loss. "At a certain point you have to get behind a person and you have to start going after Obama, not each other. And what Republicans are doing is disgraceful."
He acknowledged the energizing component of a primary battle but said the process should end now.
"Romney's going to win, and I think it's now time for us to focus on Obama, which we're not doing," Trump said.

Can somebody please tell me why anyone would listen to such a buffoon as Trump?

Because he is correct.
Why the hell should they quit for Rmoney? WHY???
Is it because the "fix" has been in for Rmoney for the past couple of months and the other candidates have steadfastly ignored The Memo?
Shut up Trump you're nothing but a Dump.
Let Rmoney get his delegates the old-fashioned way, by WORKING FOR THEM just like everybody else.
What a tool!
Obama 2012.
Considering the fact that Trump has not definitively said he would not run as an independent, his comments are even more meaningless than they would otherwise be.
Lesson folks, people like trump and Romney have been a part of the fake economy for years. Just like the economy under bush, when things on the surface looked great, but underneath was nothing there to Baker it up. The whole of the bush years was a camouflage. They hired a lot of people and said the unemployment was good, by paying folks with fake money, but when the auditors came to look into their vaults, there wasn't nothing there, so where was this fake money coming from? Lesson folks we cannot afford to go back to the fake world of the repubs policies, because we have no more money to bail us out with. These rich and powerful folks with the big negaphones can talk that fake, goo goo stuff to the gullibles in America, but what they're saying just doesn't add up. I will be a fool to fall into the same trap, after the Obama policies have taken us out of the mirryclay.
It's time for Newt and Santorum to go. Let Mitt get the job done.
It never ceases to amaze me how people pave the way for this trustfund baby, making his nomination process easier for him than it is for the other candidates. If you don't know what that is about let me give you a hint: this race is about who is going to represent the 1%ers. Period. Middle-class vs. the wealthy. Everyone else in this joke of a primary has been busting their hump trying to win states/delegates....except Rmoney. On the contrary, the other candidates AND state officials (governors, etc) have been INSTRUCTED to support Rmoney. Smelling the roses yet? They smell like doo-doo from where I'm standing.
The FIX is in, and you can't tell me otherwise.
WHO really in the right mind on a good day gives a rats puttie about this dude? I mean really?
How much did the Koch brothers, Karl Rove and Grover Norquist pay Trump to say this?
Nobody cares what you say Mr Combover. Go back to your super investigation of Obama's birth certificate
Why does Trump sound like he is actually saying, "Kneel before Zod."
The "Blowfish" speaks again. No really! The guy's a blowfish. Cheeks all puffed out n lips all puckered up. I didn't read the article because I don't EVER listen to the blowfish, but he's entertaining to watch because he's so full of himself.
I am not a fan of Trump, but he is right on the money about the current state of GOP primary. Newt and Santorum should quit and back Mitt sight away so that we can focus on beating BHO!!
I don't support ANY of these candidates but a word of advice for them is to play some of Trump's soundbites BEFORE he decided to back Romney. Not very flattering if you ask me. They could also throw in some of Sen McCain's from the past as well.
he wants a republican money scam economy dead end for the middle class–good for the 1%

Four is correct. It is time for Republicans to show us the truth in the words of Michael Steele. "Republicans do not fall out, they fall in line."
They've been attacking the President every chance they get. Let them continue fighting amongst each other.
Simply amazing that some GOP/Tea Party voters actually considered this man as presidential material. Guess truth is stranger than fiction.
Now there is a very catchy campaign slogan "Quit for Romney!" To really emphasize the message in the general election, Romney should definitely try to get Palin back on the ticket.
Did you hear that, everyone? The rich billionaire wants us to vote for the other rich billionaire. I make about $25,000 a year. It would be SOOO STUPID for me NOT to vote for these guys. Why wouldn't the two billionaires NOT care about me??
Wow, I find myself agreeing with Mama's post today.
Well, all except for that Obama 2012 thing.
It's understandable that Romney wants a fellow fat-cat to serve as POTUS. Who better to dedicate their efforts toward keeping the rich fat and happy – on the backs of the poor and middle class people? Still, the riders in the Republican Clown Car are completely ridiculous and voters are avoiding the polls – except for the right-wing Teavangelicals.
A simple question for Republican
If Romney is having such a difficult time beating Santorum and Gingrich, then how can he possibly beat President Obama?
Why should the others get out of the way for Romney? Isn't that the whole point of the circus we get every four years?
See who comes out on top. Romney doesn't have near enough delegates he needs to clinch the GOP nomination. Regardless of whom views his winning as inevitable, perhaps Rick, Newt and Ron might have some input (via their delegates) on the outcome? Let it play out.. this is what the nomination is about.
Besides, I need more laughter
This is not the way how to unite the party while you are chasing their candidates away. Trump is the spoiler.
