(CNN) – For their decision to remain in the 2012 presidential election, Mitt Romney supporter Donald Trump called the other Republican candidates "disgraceful."
The real estate mogul said it is time for Republicans to unite around the eventual nominee Romney to avoid aiding President Barack Obama's re-election.

"If they're good Republicans they're going to say, 'Look, we've got to beat Obama, lets get together,'" Trump said Monday on Fox News. "Somebody has to get together and end this thing because now it's getting tiresome and people are not liking it. The only one liking it is Obama."
Trump, who flirted with his own presidential bid earlier in the year, pushed back against recent Santorum wins.
"He's not winning … he's not going to win and it's just not going to happen," Trump said, after pointing to his 2006 Pennsylvania Senate loss. "At a certain point you have to get behind a person and you have to start going after Obama, not each other. And what Republicans are doing is disgraceful."
He acknowledged the energizing component of a primary battle but said the process should end now.
"Romney's going to win, and I think it's now time for us to focus on Obama, which we're not doing," Trump said.

I thought Donald Trump is no more a Republican? He mentioned "our" party when referring to Republican.
That said, we all can clamor for the glamor of Palin. A Palin/Trump ticket will be awsome to some and to us as well. So, go Palin/Trump and dump the rest and let them rest.
Trump has morphed into a buffoon, a clown and a ridiculous political sideshow. Trump is sort of the ugly side of America.
Both love to fire people; so they belong together. Crude rich men who don't have an inkling of how to run the federal government. Always impatient - impatient to rush into war with Iran. Trump is just afraid Romney will come out with more gaffes.

Given that Trump supporters are almost certainly the money behind the shadowy "Americans Elect" organization that is building a state by state ballot access for their "party" to enable Trump to jump into the race at the very last possible minute while avoiding the necessity of having to declare his intentions ahead of time...

This reminds me of the stay the course attitude of the repubilcan party during the Iraq war. How many additional American soldiers died in Iraq because republican politicians did what was necessary for the party and not for this country?

Like him or not, he knows how to win any game he actually wants to win. I read his first book when it came out, back around the end of the 80's, and I'm glad I did.

When Trump was running, he was running hard right.
He has already alienated independant voters.

Please keep it going till the convention! I want to see four haggard, despirited, beaten and bruised candidates come crawling into the convention and see three of them collapse from exaustion. Obama debating whoever is left will be like sandblasting a soupcracker.
