(CNN) - If Newt Gingrich can't win Alabama and Mississippi, where can he win? The former speaker fell short in the heart of Dixie on Tuesday, and it's not clear where he goes from here.
Approaching the halfway mark of the primary season, Gingrich has finished first in a grand total of two states: South Carolina and his home state of Georgia.

never know the luck...just let him stay in fight....good luck, gingirich...
Gingrich strikes out? Considering that Newt Gingrich has apparently been hired by a multi-billionaire to be a lobbyist in the disguise of a presidential candidate, I am forced to say that Newt is hitting them out of the park. On a side note, I laughed to myself when I saw results from Hawaii, I think it was, showing Ron Paul had finished in 3rd, far ahead of Gingrich.
Old Newt just can't seem to win not even with his confederate flag waving good ole boys.
OBAMA 2012!
It is time for Gingrich to get out. He no longer serves a purpose to be in the race other than self-serving!
The question is: if Gingrich drops out, what will prevent Santorum from winning the Republican nomination and giving Democrats a clean sweep of the White House, the Senate, and the House? While Romney will also lose to Obama, he will not kill the rest of the Republican Party.
Listen to your own words Newt and get out...you have lost relevance and are hurting Santorum...therefore helping Romney who is not a conservative!!! Nothing like being right all the time Newt....
I think people are on to Newt's radical McCarthyism and secular Bircher destruction of America.
But he's first at Tiffany's and one of the Casinos in Vegas.
