(CNN) – The daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made headlines this week when she called on President Barack Obama to denounce comments made by his supporter Bill Maher. CNN's Mary Snow reports.

Your situation is not the same as Ms Flukes. You were a pregnant teenager who was not married. You made that decision. Ms Fluke was talking about a national need for health care for women and got called a slut for it. She did nothing to provoke that. Ms Fluke was representing the healthcare reform that the President issued.
I could say the same about Limbaugh... and I would get the same response because nobody would a flip about who I am or what I want. does she think she has political clout because she's on reality TV?

ok so her Mom didn't denounce what Rush Limbaugh said but she wants President Obama to denounce whatever it is Bill Maher, who supported Limbaugh's right to say what he said by the way, to denounce him. Looks like the Palin apple didn't fall too far from the tree. As a woman she along with her mother I guess didn't mind Rush calling Ms. Fluke a slut on the air. Too bad.
No one deserves to be called names, but the President doesn't need to call her. She, however, does need to call her psychiatrist pronto.

Sarah Palin announced she wants to debate President Obama and now Bristol wants the president to call her. Both know that NIETHER will happen and they will jump up and down and claim VICTORY which their fans of course will agree with. Methinks a certain family needs attention and feels left out.
Bristol, were you trying to be a part of the GOP anti-contraception hearing and denied access to it like all other women? Otherwise you are missing the topic of discussion, which was contraception and partisan attacks on anyone that supported it. I will say that going overboard by comedians or partisan pundits against women is not funny and is unacceptable. However some situations don't deserve a presidential phone call.

The Presidnt shouldn't be calling Bristol because Bill Maher said something nasty. Nor should he be calling Fluke. He should be calling the Americans that lost their jobs, homes and loved ones. That's where his attention should be focused, not on entertaining sideshows.
