Well if that is true then not one single Latino should be voting for 4 more years of the Obama depression and record unemployment rates.

Sorry lies and nothing but lies, even mittens thinks the economy is improving. As for those "record unemployment rates", are you really that obtuse, are you lying, or just playing for the crowd?

Hey, Truth. The Great Recession began under George W. Bush. Nothing tops the record 8 million jobs we lost during his final 3 years in office.

All conservatives want to rewrite history, and lay the entire blame for the economy on Pres. Obama. They blame him for TARP, which occurred under Bush in late 2008. They blame him for the foreclosure crisis, which began under Bush in early 2006. They blame him for the two wars we were mired in, which created hundreds of billions in annual debt. They blame him for saving GM and Chrysler, which would destroyed another million jobs had they failed. They blame him for high global oil prices, which can be attributed to the 400% increase in oil consumpion by India and China over the past 15 years, and Mideast political conflicts. They even him blame him for ending the Iraq War, which Bush are negotiated a SOFA agreement a week after the Nov. 2008 elections.

Eva is talking about Latinos which are the Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Cubans. She is not talking about Latin Americans/Central & South Americans. The Latin Americans are pretty much ignored and the numbers in the US is extremely small in comparison to Mexicans and Cubans. Puerto Ricans of course are Americans. Immigration problem is mainly focused on Mexicans. The Mexican vote is the one to go after. Central and South Americans don't usually associate with Mexicans and Mexicans don't usually associate with Central and South Americans. Mexicans do associate with Dominicans and Cubans.

If you get to spend some time in Central and South America you will realize that Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans and Cubans are not that welcome and Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans and Dominicans are not that fond of Central and South Americans, most of the time they do not get along with each other.

Republican economic policies over the previous decade saw the closure of over 50,000 manufacturing plants, permanently taking middle class jobs out of this country. We had some 19 million manufacturing jobs in 2000. By the end of 2008 we had only 11 million, a decline that saw a third of them lost in the previous 24 months.

Do we really want to return to those sort of economic policies?

Why do you think California is requiring that schools teach in both English and Spanish? To keep the illegal Mexican vote happy. Seriously, who is so dumb to think that Spanish is the legitimate language of Mexico when around the world it is known that Spain introduced Spanish to the native Mexican indians. If anything, California should be teaching school in English and the language of the indigenous Mexican indians, not Spanish of Spain. How dumb.

The economy is the number 1 issue for every voting demographic – even Poor White Republicans who accuse Democrats and minorities of being on welfare while they wait for their own free government cheese.

You always avoid maning-up to the truth. Republicans dug the hole we're in and then obstructed all attempts to recover. You had control of all three branches of our government when the worst of the cut & spend economics was in force. You started two wars and didn't put them on the books. Republicans WERE the banking industry that screwed America and the first bailout package was issued by President Bush. The Republicans in the Senate filibustered 95 (more now) initiatives to block debate and votes. The Republican-controlled House caused the US to lose it's bond rating! Man-up to these things and you might some level of credibility as an American patriot – rather than just anyother angry, bigoted, fearful, Rush Limbaugh conservative.

If the economy is the #1 issue for Latinos, why is she going to be focusing on women's issues? Poor editorial performance as usual from CNN (even if the video might address this incongruity).

You make unusually biased, off-topic remarks that contain both stereotypes and gross inaccuracies.

Republican politicians under a Republican governer instituted those language policies in California back in the days when Republicans were trying to pander votes from those who spoke Spanish.

BTW, most people of Puerto Rican feel that they are Americans, and are extremely proud of it. They bear strong resentment to Spanish speaking illegal immigrants who claim they do not need immigration papers because they are from Puerto Rico. They feel that illegals have given their hispanic communities a decidely bad reputation, one that is ill-deserved.

You need to start getting your news from someplace besides the braindead leftwing media sites.

DEMOCRATS and their free homes for anybody that can put an X on the dotted line, regards of financial status, is what brought the economy down. Financial IEDs planted in the road years and years before Bush ever took office. And they are doing it ALL OVER AGAIN with Obamacare. Only this time it'll be YOUR medical coverage going bye bye.

If it wasn't for the Republicans taking the House in 2010, there wouldn't have been ANY recovery. They have kept Obama from digging deeper and deeper into the financial abyss with his leftist madness.

Some have been whispering that if we put Republicans back in the White House that we will have another Wall Street banking crisis followed another TARP bailout for the big banks.

Isn't amazing that after FOUR YEARS the libtards in here as well as Obama blame everybody else and NEVER accept responsibility FOR THEIR POLICIES. Obama ha shad FOUR YEARS to turn things around. He sold the American people on the idea of almost a TRILLION "stimulus" plan and we would never go above 8% unemployment and was supposed to be around 6% by now.

FACT is we shot UP to over 10% and remain OVER what we never supposed to be at in the first place! AND THIS IS FOUR YEARS LATER!!! Record unemployment levels for RECORD lengths of time thanks to Obama and his socialist cabal in Congress.

Obama is an economic FAILURE by ANY measure. "oh but things are getting better", "oh but we're adding jobs", is just BS smoke and mirrors. Adding ten jobs is positive job growth. This country should be adding 500,000-600,000 per month like we have in the past. But Obama's policies STIFLE GROWTH. His huge deficit spending and Obamacare has shaken the fabric of our economy. Everybody is bracing for the worse and from the latest Obamacare revelations, THE WORSE IS ON THE WAY when Obamacare hits.

I've heard whispering that if Obama gets re-elected and Obamacare takes affect, that companies will br dropping employee healthcare plans by the MILLIONS adding to the deficit and driving it OVER TWO TRILLION A YEAR.
