Did Santorum lose the GOP civil war at Gettysburg?

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (CNN) – Rick Santorum chose the iconic Civil War town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to watch the primary returns from Illinois as a tribute to Abraham Lincoln.

In his own Gettysburg address to supporters, the Republican contender tried to make the case his battle for the Republican nomination is not lost.

"It's the most important election since the election of 1860," Santorum said in one of his many references to the Civil War.

Unbelievable, the nonsense this man spreads! But the others are not better. It is a shame with what attitudes, speeches, offering nothing they stand before the public! The GOP is at it’s morally and intellectual lowest level ever in their history.

It is time for everyone but Romney to get out. Get behind and push for the win in the fall. Romney speaks to the issues and is the strongest and most liked, do the GOP a favor and bail out and quit looking like fools.
