Stillwater, Oklahoma (CNN) – President Barack Obama took on critics of his energy policies Thursday, saying in carefully coordinated speeches that they weren't paying attention to increased oil production at home and were misleading the public about the cause of rising gas prices.
"Anyone who says that we're somehow suppressing domestic oil production isn't paying attention," Obama said in Cushing, Oklahoma, on the second day of a four-state tour to tout his policies.

I cannot believe that the *same* people who are opposed to Pres. Obama's energy policy, which includes alternative forms of energy, are the exact *same* people who cheered for Sarah Palin in 2008 who advocated for a near identical policy. She stumped for the US to explore not just oil, but all forms of energy including wind, solar and green energy technologies. Believe it or not, she did.
Yes, I admit the fact this scenario needs all of the above approach. Or else, we will be again "Bribed by Saudi for Oil" and they bribe GOP idiots. Stop it. Go for Alternate Energy. Fuel-Efficiency, Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. This hurts entire Middle-East. Good for USA. Obama2012.
Planet Europe used all of it fueil and now a block of solid ice. It apears planet EARTH is headed in same direction.
obama looks weak and cant make up his mind on the key stone pipe line... the left wing nuts scream and now he see the polls and makes a half ass effort to just build part of the pipe line...he is clueless and has no plan ... and more good jobs are lost..just stupid politics....pathedic..

This is called giving the screaming brat a cookie.
Do you think it is coincidence that when the administration first rejected an accelerated approval that at least two major gasoline refineries in the US halted production? Doing so reduced the US gas supply.
