(CNN) – Eric Fehrnstrom, a senior advisor to presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, made light Thursday of the Etch A Sketch firestorm he started Wednesday on CNN's "Starting Point".
"Everything changes. It's like Etch A Sketch," he said of the differences between the general and primary election. "You can shake it up and we start all over again."
On Thursday, Fehrnstrom tweeted: "Etch A Sketch stock is up? Psst, I'll mention Mr. Potato Head next. Buy Hasbro tinyurl.com/6qavupa."

When you have less than half the delegates, candidates will focus on anything except reality. Good luck Santorum. Romney will be our nominee!
Is he joking or is creating jobs? Don't tell me. He got the idea while he was shaving this morning. Right?
The Romney campaign should be careful. As we all know, you can change Mr. Potato Head's look many different ways – kind of like the way Romney changes his stance on most of the issues of the day. Ok – so Mitt Romney is just like Mr. Potato Head
Eric, your boss is Mr. Potato Head
Stop all the b.s. Romney is the only one that can fix things around this sadly economic crisis.
At least you know where Mr. Potato Head stands on issues. In 1987, Mr. Potato Head became the spokesperson for the American Cancer Society's annual "Great American Smokeout" campaign. In 1992, he received an award from the President's Council for Physical Fitness. In 1996, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head joined the League of Women Voters and its "Get Out the Vote" campaign. With Romney, you don't know where he stands on issues.
Lighten up people, that was funny. Everybody following politics is so serious all the time. Relax and enjoy the ride.
Lighten up. Wasn't it Queen Ann who "told" us to do this only so the truth wouldn't come out about her lying husband? How convenient during election season. The Romney's truly think we're ignorant and stupid but the polls will reflect differently in November. Bye, bye Ann.
